Reis door alle facetten van de Mexicaanse keuken, van traditionele "abuelita" recepten tot drie verschillende Tlayuda's en regionale gerechten vers gemaakt in een lokale plek. U ervaart de heerlijke smaak van de beroemde Black and Red Moles, evenals een knapperige Fried Chile Relleno. Onze tour bezoekt twee lokale markten voor uw plezier: Mercado 20 de Noviembre en Mercado Benito Juárez, voordat u naar de Zócalo wandelt, een charmant plein vol geschiedenis, prachtige architectuur en cultuur. De oude stad van Oaxaca is de perfecte omgeving om de kleurrijke sfeer te ervaren en de levendige smaken van de authentieke Mexicaanse keuken te ontdekken, waaronder een uniek gearomatiseerd traditioneel regionaal geschaafd ijs. Welkom bij ons startpunt! Hier zal onze gids zichzelf voorstellen en een boeiend overzicht geven van de gehele culinaire tour.
Begin een verrukkelijke reis terwijl we genieten van onze eerste hapjes en meer leren over de markten in Oaxaca! Onze voedselreis begint met twee geweldige hapjes in de beroemde Mercado 20 de Noviembre in Oaxaca: een hartig en een zoet. We zullen genieten van een klassiek Mexicaans gerecht dat bekend staat om zijn rijke geschiedenis en uniek is voor deze stad: onze speciale Mole Negro, waarvan u kunt genieten naast een andere aparte Mole uit Oaxaca; dan Chili relleno en meer!
Daarna wandelen we door Mercado Juarez, waar we nog een ronde heerlijke hapjes zullen nuttigen: een quesillo en een zoete lokale snack!
Ontdek de Zocalo, we zorgen ervoor dat iedereen daar kan genieten van ons pre-Spaanse drankje bij uitstek, Tejate, vergezeld van een zoete Pan de Yema!
We verkennen een van de bruisende winkelgebieden in het historische centrum en ontdekken de plekken waar de lokale bevolking graag hun tijd doorbrengt. En hier bezoeken we een mooi terras en halen we nog meer eten! Na een korte wandeling door een andere straat komen we hier weer terecht en betreden we onze geheime bestemming voor foodies!

Kicked off our 5-day family vacation in Oaxaca with Ricardo leading our food tour.
