Uw privégids haalt u op bij uw hotel in Füssen of München. Eerst rijden we naar kasteel Neuschwanstein het meest bezochte kasteel in Zuid-Duitsland en was de inspiratie voor kasteel Disney. (Met Skip the Line hoeft u zich geen zorgen te maken over uren wachten om tickets te krijgen of tickets zijn uitverkocht wanneer u aankomt). We rijden naar Hohenschwangau dorp. Eerst nemen we de shuttle naar Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) voor een aantal geweldige foto’s, daarna lopen we naar Neuschwanstein (het sprookjeskasteel) met een rondleiding naar binnen. (De toegang tot het kasteel wordt uitgevoerd als een groepsrondleiding, in overeenstemming met het beleid van het kasteel). Je komt meer te weten over de Zwanenkoning (Ludwig II) koning van Beieren (1864-1886). En de geschiedenis van kasteel Neuschwanstein (werd gebouwd 1869-1886).
Het is tijd om het kasteel Hohenschwangau, de zomerresidentie van de familie Wittelsbach en het ouderlijk huis van koning Ludwig II, te verkennen om een dieper begrip van zijn familie te krijgen. Het kasteel werd gebouwd door koning Maximiliaan II en diende als inspiratiebron voor de architectonische projecten van koning Ludwig II. (De toegang tot het kasteel wordt uitgevoerd als een groepsrondleiding, in overeenstemming met het beleid van het kasteel). Nadat u klaar bent met het verkennen van het kasteel, kunt u genieten van een ontspannen wandeling rond de pittoreske Alpsee of bladeren voor souvenirs voordat we verder gaan naar onze volgende bestemming. Deze ervaring biedt een unieke kans om je onder te dompelen in de geschiedenis en omgeving die de Beierse koninklijke familie beïnvloedde.
Vervolgens rijden we naar het idyllische dorpje Oberammergau, bekend om zijn eeuwenoude Passiespel, ingewikkelde houtsnijwerken en prachtig beschilderde huizen. Hier heeft u tijd om te genieten van een ontspannen lunch, lokale winkels te verkennen en de unieke charme van het dorp in u op te nemen. Na deze laatste, serene stop keren we terug naar uw hotel, waarmee we een onvergetelijke Beierse ervaring compleet maken. Emir was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the castle and history prior to the skip the line tour of the tour made the tour of the interior more meaningful. We were able to look for the special things as we did the guided tour. Amir engages our 10 yr old grandson in the conversation asking him questions and sharing information that was relatable to his age. We had a very memorable day trip. Thank you Emir. Highly recommend! We had a marvelous time. David, our guide and driver, was knowledgeable and attentive. He even went the extra mile to allow our good friend to be dropped off at his accommodations, and bought a treat from a vendor he knows for us to try. I would say his driving was a tad aggressive for our taste, but he was efficient and effective. He is a wonderful guide. Our tour was just what I had hoped it would be.

Our guide picked us up at the hotel and took us to visit the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Despite the long journey, he was very pleasant and attentive throughout. He’s very knowledgeable and knows a lot about history. After the castle tours, he suggested taking us to a nearby village specialized in wood carvings which we absolutely loved! He even played Spanish music for us since it’s our first language. We’re very grateful and highly recommend.

David was a great tour guide, we were able to ask questions and he provided us with rich knowledge of the Bovarian culture and history. He was accommodating, had beverages on board and made the ride quite comfortable.

Excellent day visiting the two castles, with historical facts and commentary provided by our tour guide David as we drove to Fussen from Munich. David provided knowledge about the area and the history behind the castles, and made our visits to both castles as pleasant and easy as possible, considering how crowded and popular they are. He showed us the best photo spots and answered our questions thoughtfully. Also a good storyteller with some of the history around King Ludwig II!! Our day ended with a half hour visit to the lovely village of Oberramergau before our return trip to Munich. Highly recommend this private tour.
