Deze aangename wandeling van gemiddelde moeilijkheidsgraad brengt je naar de top van de meest populaire berg in de Cycladische eilandengroep: Mount Zas! Als je eenmaal de top hebt bereikt, zijn er veel dingen om trots op te zijn! Je bent niet alleen op het hoogste punt van de Cycladen, maar je hebt ook een wandeling gemaakt naar de top van de berg waar Zeus, vader en koning van de Olympische goden, is opgegroeid. Het pad dat u volgt, is precies hetzelfde pad dat mensen al sinds de oudheid naar de top van de berg volgen. Het uitgestrekte blauw van de Egeïsche Zee zal je onderweg vergezellen, terwijl het uitzicht op de naburige Cycladische eilanden adembenemend is. Als je bovenaan staat, is het 360 graden uitzicht de Goden waardig! Zodra je de top bereikt, besteed je wat tijd aan het maken van foto's en het nuttigen van een heerlijke traditionele traktatie. Nadat je al het moois in je hebt opgenomen, begin je aan de terugweg! Aan het einde van je wandeling geniet je van een heerlijke traditionele picknick!

De starttijd van de tour is vastgesteld op 09.00 uur voor gasten die geen gebruik willen maken van onze ophaalservice en ervoor kiezen om ons op het startpunt te ontmoeten. Voor gasten die de pick-up-and-drop-off add-on kiezen, wordt de ophaaltijd de dag voor de tour naar hen gestuurd - het zal om ongeveer 08.00 uur zijn (afhankelijk van de locatie van uw accommodaties), en de tour begint om 09.00 uur.

Really nice trip up the top of Mount Zas. Our guide was super nice and told a lot about the area, nature and Naxos in general. Fantastic view from the top! Definitely our best experience on Naxos.
One of the guides (Hector) picked us up from our hotel and brought us to the beginning of the hike where we met the other family and guide (Nectarius). The hike itself was beautiful. Through the hike our guides continually told us history and stories about the land and the views we were seeing. They were extremely knowledgeable. When we reached the top, we had a wonderful view of dozens of islands all around Naxos. Hector and Nectarius were able to tell the name and backstory of each one. We are also provided with a little snack. When we reached the bottom, there was a lovely lunch with ample food prepared for us. They also brought us back to our hotel. They also take photos of you throughout the hike which they send to you for free afterwards. The guides showed so much care the entire time. I definitely recommend.

This moderate level hike is a great way to see Naxos from a different perspective. Hector did a phenomenal job assisting us along the hike at all times and checking in with us. Hector was very knowledgeable with the surrounding farms, plants, herbs, and mythology attached to the mountain.
Our guide was so friendly, knowledge, and helpful on the hike! He even held out water bottles for us so we would have an easier time hiking. The whole experience was definitely tiring, but worth it for great views and Greek history.
Myself & wife are both mid 60s & booked this hike which was rated as moderate. Although it was quite strenuous at times for us we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Hector our guide was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history & explained everything clearly. He had a great sense of humour & was very patient whenever one of our group needed a rest. The views are well worth the effort & the price of the trip was good value. Strongly recommended.

The hike was harder than expected for me being 59, someone that doesn’t work out BUT was the most amazing feeling when I reached the top. Went with my husband who is 62 and my kids who are 28 and 30. They absolutely loved it. Our guide was awesome, definitely need to go with a guide for sure. Loved the stories he told of Greek legends and about the islands. Will remember this day forever!!
Best part of our trip so far! Our guide was so friendly, and you can tell he really cares about making the experience good for guests, and he also has a true love of the island which makes learning about Naxos even better! We also had a delicious homemade Greek meal after the hike. The view itself was beautiful! 10/10 recommend!
