Ons bedrijf neemt u mee op een tour door de meest populaire delen van het eiland en binnen een paar uur heeft u ons prachtige eiland leren kennen! Onze chauffeurs en gidsen zijn locals en kennen alle uithoeken van het eiland, evenals de geweldige geschiedenis! In deze tour bezoeken we de tempel van Dimitra die in 530 voor Christus werd gebouwd een oude pottenbakkerij in het dorp Damala die nog steeds traditioneel aardewerk maakt en vervolgens bezoeken we de drie mooiste en beroemdste dorpen van Naxos! Halki dat het oude centrum van Naxos was, Filoti dat het grootste dorp is en Apeiranthos het traditionele dorp gemaakt van steen en marmer! **De Tempel van Demeter is elke dinsdag gesloten. U bezoekt de olijfpers in Kaloxilo om meer te weten te komen over traditionele olijfolieproductiemethoden en lokale olijfolie te proeven.

Archeologische plaats, de tempel van Demeter in Naxos: In de buurt van het dorp Sangri, 10 km van de stad Naxos, ligt de heilige tempel van Demeter. Deze magnifieke tempel is uitsluitend gemaakt van de beste kwaliteit Naxos-marmer en dateert uit de 6e eeuw voor Christus. Omdat Demeter de Olympische godin van landbouw, oogst en vruchtbaarheid was, bouwden mensen tempels die aan haar waren gewijd op vruchtbare gronden, zoals die van Sangri.

Dorpswandelingen, verschillende goed bewaarde Venetiaanse torens en mooie Byzantijnse kerken liggen in het gebied, waaronder de 9e-eeuwse kerk van Panagia Protothrone, een van de oudste kerken van Naxos en herbergt prachtige Byzantijnse en post-Byzantijnse fresco's.

We had a fantastic trip with Mario. He could not have been more helpful and welcoming. He took us to so many places we would never have found ourselves. We had such a great day. I’d go as far to say it’s the best tour I’ve done.
My wife and I booked this tour 2 months before our stay in Mykonos. Searching for events in Mykonos on Viator, this tour appeared and it looked awesome. We booked it and entered our hotel in Mykonos for the pickup location. At 10:00pm the night before, we received a What’s App message saying that there is a problem with our reservation. The next morning, the tour company explained that they are in Naxos and do not provide transportation to Naxos. And yet our confirmation from Viator clearly shows a pickup from our Mykonos hotel. We are now fighting with Viator to get a refund…

The perfect blend of life in Naxos, culture and history. We enjoyed a variety of stops and didn’t feel rushed. We valued having a guide who could get us safely to our stops on the narrow and winding roads.
Our driver, Manolis, was a local and very knowledgeable. He made a wonderful recommendation for lunch while we were visiting the villages. We ended up booking him for our transport to the port for our departure as well.

This is the must do tour of Naxos island! We had a local, Mario, and he was legendary. Took us to several excellent spots, so much history, and was patient and helpful all along the way. The Pottery was a blast to see, Filoti and Chalki were so beautiful and rich with history. Mario even took us to some churches and gave us some excellent history to think about. Even our teenage daughters had a blast and they still remember this as the most memorable tour of all our 11 days in Greece.
We had the best experience with this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and allowed us flexibility and navigated each area well. We felt like we really experienced the island. Highly recommend!!
