Ga op een onvergetelijke dagtocht vanuit Napels om de oude wonderen van Pompeii en Herculaneum te verkennen. Onder begeleiding van onze deskundige lokale archeologengidsen begint u aan een meeslepende wandeltocht door de opmerkelijk intacte straten, huizen en openbare ruimtes van deze oude steden, waarbij u de rijke verhalen ontdekt die ze bevatten. Terwijl je door de tijd reist, zul je gefascineerd zijn door de aangrijpende overblijfselen van Pompeii en het verbluffende behoud van Herculaneum – die beide bevroren waren in de geschiedenis door de catastrofale uitbarsting van de Vesuvius in 79 na Christus. Onze gids zal u een fantastische tour geven binnen Pompeii ruïnes en zal in staat zijn om de oude stad te ontdekken. De gids ontmoet de groep buiten de archeologische site. De tour duurt ongeveer 2 uur binnen de site
Wandel door de straten van het Herculaneum en Controleer de verschillen met andere archeologische sites, zoals Pompeii ruïnes. Beide archeologische vindplaatsen bevatten de opgegraven ruïnes van steegjes en huizen waar je vrij bent om te verkennen en toch te blijven de overblijfselen opgraven van een plek die vandaag in de tijd is opgesloten. It was a very good experience, both in terms of our driver Antonio Carola and our guide during both tours (Luca). During the trips, Antonio showed us the most prominent places we passed by. He was also very attentive to everything we needed. He had cold water ready every time we left/returned to the coach, and with the heat, it was greatly appreciated. As for Luca, he was an excellent guide, a historian by profession, which multiplies the content of the explanations by 10. The fact that it is a tour with a small group is a great advantage because it allows for better navigation of the streets in both locations. It is clear that both Antonio and Luca enjoy their work, and that makes the tour a highly recommended experience!

Everything about this trip was worth the money. Raffi (tour guide) was excellent. The 2 archeologists highlighted things that I would have missed, as well as the detailed explanations about Pompeii (Anna) and herculeanum (Nina). Nina was especially entertaining and enthusiastic! The group being small was excellent and being a solo traveller I was included in comments which is not always the case. Although pricey due to the peak holiday time, it was totally worth it. The only "downside" was the extreme heat! - the air-conditioned bus was a welcome break.
The excursion itself was well-organized, but with some caveats: they advertise as a small group trip, maximum 14 people, but on the Pompeii tour, there were 21 of us in the Spanish group. They gave us a break to eat, but at 11:30; it would be worth it to see Pompeii a bit better, not in such a rush, and eat at a more normal time.

The tour is very good, we had Diana as a guide in Herculaneum and she was fantastic in Pompeii, however we would have liked to have more free time to be able to visit it in addition to having the explanation, despite that a very good experience! Thank you!!

It’s not the guide’s fault that she couldn’t stop more. But I was too busy watching where I walked on the stone roads to have a look at what she was talking about.
Diana was great, lots of interesting facts and fun time, always attentive so that out group remain together. August is incredibly hot, so something to consider when booking the tour. In general for the agency it would be great to have information about how to recognize the guide because that's the same reunion-spot for many tours, and also, something the agency could ask when people book the tour is "is there something you would like to see?".
