Napels wandeltocht & ondergrondse ruïnes
Beschrijving
Een wandeltocht door het historische centrum van de stad Napels. Verder komt de "Napolitaanse" cultuur tot uiting in het typische lokale eten en in de steegjes vol acteurs en dansers die je pad zullen kleuren met ongelooflijke effecten. Na vrije tijd bereikt de gids het monumentale gebied van Napels en geniet van het uitzicht op het middeleeuwse kasteel van Anjou en een van de beste neoklassieke theaters ter wereld, het Teatro di San Carlo. Voor het San Carlo Theater vindt u het "winkelcentrum in vrijheidsstijl", bekend als "Galleria Umberto I", en vervolgens loopt u langs de Via Toledo en Piazza Plebiscito. De tour duurt ongeveer 5/6 uur en omvat 2 vrije tijdspauzes van elk 45 minuten, één om te winkelen en één om te lunchen. Elke groep zal maximaal 25 deelnemers bereiken.

Our guide Pierfrancesco was very engaging and spoke English very well. We visited the castle, the main church in Naples, the subterranean exhibit and a couple of famous piazzas. We had time to try a coffee at the famous Gambinos cafe which was a nice touch. We travelled once on the underground to get across the city. The tour was advertised as a half day walking tour, but it ended after 3 hours. We only had 10 minutes to explore some of the sights, so to us the tour felt a little rushed. We would have liked the advertised 45 mins in the subterranean area and longer in the church.

Our guide Arianna was absolutely wonderful. She guided very leisurely pace and stopped for toilet break. Her knowledge about Naples was very good. I recommend her.
