Stop bij het Vogue Multicultureel Museum. Dit voormalige theater - omgevormd tot het hoofdkwartier van paranormale onderzoekers - werd een nachtclub - werd een museum en heeft een lange en unieke geschiedenis, die teruggaat tot de tijd dat deze strip bekend stond als Prospect Avenue.
El Capitan werd een jaar voor het Chinese theater in 1926 gebouwd en begon oorspronkelijk als een theater voor uitvoerende kunsten, met live producties en musicals in een tijdperk waarin film begon te domineren. Hier leer je over de vele spoken die tot op de dag van vandaag plaatsvinden, zoals de verhalen van de manager wiens gezicht uit een raam boven de ingang naar beneden tuurt en talloze andere.
We nemen je mee naar Musso en Frank's Grill, het eeuwenoude restaurant dat Hollywood en de filmindustrie zoals wij die kennen vorm heeft gegeven. Legenden vertellen over de geest van Charlie Chaplin die nog steeds de stand bevolkt die zo bekend staat als de zijne, terwijl hij nog leefde, misschien zie je hem zelfs het gebouw binnenkomen!

Our tour guide, Maxwell, did an exceptional job. He’s very passionate about history and it made the tour far more enjoyable with his knowledge. I would highly recommend tours with him.
I would like to express my extreme gratitude to our tour guide that took us on the Ghosts of Hollywood tour on Saturday night, April 4, 2026. He was informative, knowledgeable, and shared with us not only ghost stories, but the history behind these stories, and the history of Hollywood and the haunted buildings up and down Hollywood Blvd. From the start of the stars on Hollywood Blvd. to the Roosevelt Hotel, and Marilyn's haunted mirror, we saw it all. Best tour guide that I have ever experienced in all of my travels. Highly recommended and well worth the price. TAKE THIS TOUR!
I would call this more of a cool nighttime tour over a ghost tour. Guide was very enthusiastic and had some good stories about the history of LA and Hollywood and a few ghosts sprinkled in the stories but never went in any of the places just walked by in a very populated area which takes away from the spookiness…
The best experience! Our tour guide was super friendly and informative and amazing at his job! I would definitely do it again given the chance,he took the time to explain everything around us and give us fun facts about where we were and as someone not from california i really appreciated that. 10/10 experience

We had a great tour with Kath last night! Kath lives and works in Hollywood she shared her knowledge and a few stories about the history, particularly the theatres as she works in the enertainment/performance sector. Kath has worked in the older theaters where she has had personal experiences herself! Our guide was very engaging and obviously is passionate about Hollywood and the history here. Fascinating and a wonderful change from the usual OTT tourist stuff. More personal, we learned so much and certainly makes you appreciate Hollywood more. Fantastic!

He was very friendly and great at story telling and his dog was a great bonus that made me feel safer as a tourist that doesn’t know the city.
The guide was knowledgeable about the area and the history and shared some memorable stores as well as pictures.
This was a fun and interesting walking tour of Hollywood Blvd. You get to learn some history of the area set to ghost stories.
Can't review the tour itself as our guide didn't bother to show up. We'd pre-booked and payed online and turned up for the tour 25 minutes ahead of the required time. When it was clear that the guide wasn't turning up, we emailed Ghost City Tours to let them know that the guide was not here and asked for a refund. At 8pm, I wasn't expecting an immediate reply. To my surprise, I received an email saying they would try to contact the guide and find out where they were. I was told that we were the only two people booked for this tour. We received the refund but no apology or explanation as to why the guide hadn't bothered to show up. Very disappointed as we had been looking forward to having a ghost tour of Hollywood and this was the only opportunity to do so on our vacation.
We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and frustration you experienced. A no-show from a guide is completely unacceptable, and we regret that this happened—especially since this was your only opportunity for a ghost tour in Hollywood. While we’re glad you received a refund, we understand that an apology and explanation were also warranted.
