Nacht in de Agafay-woestijn, Deluxe tent met show en zwembad

Nadat we u hebben opgehaald vanaf het afgesproken punt, beginnen we aan een fantastische minibusreis naar de Agafay-woestijn. Na een uur reizen bereiken we het droge landschap van het Atlasgebergte en komen we aan bij het kamp waar we een heel bijzondere nacht zullen doorbrengen. Daar aangekomen, ontmoeten we een groep haimas die ons met thee zullen verwelkomen. Vervolgens kunt u kiezen of u wilt gaan quadrijden of kameelrijden (tegen meerprijs) door de duinen van Agafay, of dat u liever in het kamp blijft om de zonsondergang te bekijken. In elk geval zult u de wonderen van de woestijn waarderen. Later zullen we rond een kampvuur samenkomen om te genieten van een diner in de puurste Marokkaanse stijl, bestaande uit salades, kip tajine, groentecouscous en dessert. En alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, wordt de avond opgeluisterd door een traditionele voorstelling. Buikdansen, vuurspuwen, Gnawa-muziek...

Overall the experience was a lot of fun. The driver to pick us up was on time and very friendly. The reception at the camp was great and our guide throughout was professional and friendly. The wife loved the Camel ride. Keep in mind the ATV ride is more scenic than anything and they don't really allow any speed. The tents themselves were good, no issues with bugs or critters. But the showers were older and could use new heads. The food was average from what we have had in Morocco but the entertainment was fantastic. Overall a great time, we have never seen so many stars in the sky and recommend bringing a telescope or something to get great views.
We had a fabulous time in the overnight desert stay. It totally exceeded our expectations. The tents were very comfortable and more like secure cabins, with locked doors. The setting was very scenic, everywhere was very clean and the entertainment was really good. (I'm not someone who often enjoys hotel entertainment 😁.) The staff were very helpful, especially Sami, who even sorted out our transfer between cities the following day, as another company had cancelled our tickets. Our daughter enjoyed the quad biking but there was no pressure to join the additional activities for those who just wished to relax. I would really recommend this.

An immersion at the edge of the desert where the light dazzles and enchants you, and where the dunes blend with the sky. A quality experience where everything is arranged for your entertainment and satisfaction. The welcome is friendly, the meals are plentiful and tasty, the show is participatory and traditional, but above all...the environment is sumptuous!! Do not hesitate! I recommend...

Superb experience in the Agafay desert. An exceptional welcome, a good meal, and a great show. The quad activity was top-notch! Special mention to Adil, our driver on the way back, for the wonderful atmosphere.

This was a fantastic experience. The pick up and drop off were on time and easy. The transfer was around an hour including picking up from other collection points. The staff were very welcoming and explained everything about the site and what to expect for the evening on our arrival. The tent was clean, comfortable and cosy. The location was beautiful and it's nice to be in the pool looking out towards the mountains. The sunset was just before dinner and was incredible to watch. The evening entertainment was so good, it had everyone up on their feet and involved in the entertainment. The food was also really good. Following the dinner we sat around a camp fire and listened to a singer and guitar under the stars which was lovely. We would recommend this to anyone whilst here it really was 10/10.
