Steek de Golden Gate over naar Muir Woods, Sausalito en Tiburon tijdens deze 4 uur durende, aanpasbare tour met uw eigen gids. John Muir was een milieuactivist die wordt gecrediteerd met de oprichting van de nationale parken aan de westkust, waaronder Yosemite. Muir Woods ligt op 26 km van San Francisco. Sommige Redwood-bomen zijn meer dan 2.000 jaar oud en staan meer dan 300 voet lang.

It was very lovely to have spent our morning with one of the warmest, kindest, attentive and knowledgeable persons. Our private tour guide, Pep, was flexible and suggested various ways to benefit the travel needs of our party. We have been to San Francisco in the past, but this time we were really able to appreciate being shown a different side of the city. We went to places we have never seen before and discovered more of San Francisco’s beauty. We would highly recommend Pep as a guide for any of your private tours that are offered by her company.

Our family was visiting San Francisco for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and contacted Alegro Private Tours. Pep did an awesome job showing us around San Francisco and Muir Woods. We loved that our guide was willing to stop and take pictures along the way including the Doubtfire House and GGBridge vistas. Muir Woods was so peaceful. We didn’t have much time for exploring the cities of Sausalito and Tiburon. Wish we could have had more time but who knew when booking. Great trip.

FANTASTIC Beauty a short drive from downtown SF yet a WORLD AWAY! No time for the Giant Redwoods, this is a perfect micro substitute. Parking is limited wear good non-slip shoes. Most trails have good wooden planks for motorized wheelchairs. We'll equipped souvenir shop with refreshments & restrooms. It's easy to see where Walt Disney may have created his films or George Lucas conjured the Ewok village in this must see location. T-n-L

Our guided tour was a highlight of my multi-generational trip. Book it on one of your first days in San Francisco so that you can get your guide's insights into the city and area. You will learn a lot and get some insider tips! She knows the very best spots to take you, is so kind and wonderful to spend the day with, and will inspire kids and adults alike with her knowledge of nature and the region.
