Als je nog niet helemaal klaar bent om de top van Afrika's grootste berg te beklimmen, dan kan Kilisa Tours & Safaris je de eerste dag van de wandeling naar de Kilimanjaro laten doen. je wandelt ongeveer 3-4 uur vanaf de voet van de berg. Hier neemt u een pauze terwijl u ook de kans krijgt om de adembenemende flora en fauna te bewonderen die u omringt voordat u aan uw afdaling begint.

Als je maar kort in Tanzania bent, of nog niet helemaal klaar bent om de top van Afrika's grootste berg te beklimmen, dan kan Kilisa Tours & Safaris je de eerste dag van de wandeling op de Kilimanjaro laten doen. Na het bereiken van de poorten bij Marangu, wandel je ongeveer 3-4 uur naar de eerste lodges, op 2.700 meter van de voet van de berg. Hier neemt u een pauze voor de lunch terwijl u ook de kans krijgt om de adembenemende natuur in u op te nemen voordat u aan uw afdaling begint. Je wordt vergezeld door een gekwalificeerde gids met een vergunning, klaar om al je vragen te beantwoorden, terwijl je ondertussen interessante dingen aanwijst.

Really easy hike but the landscape was awesome. I saw several blue monkeys. I only had a day but I am planning on doing it to the top but on a MTB

My guide "Nickson" was extremely accommodating despite how completely unprepared I was for the trip. He carried everything and had a lot of useful information about the sights to see on the hike. He also stayed just a couple steps behind me so that I could set my own pace. I would Definitely recommend this company and this guide for anyone considering this trip.

I was completely satisfied with the service provided by Kilisa. I especially appreciated that the guide tried to customize the day according to my wishes. For example, I like to hike on my own, enjoying the peace of the woods. After my guide heard that, he suggested that we walk a few hundred meters from each other, to give me space (but - at the same time - to be there in case I needed help). The day hike on Kilimanjaro is not too exhausting, it should be manageable for reasonable fit people.
