Wandeling in het lavarotsbos van Aokigahara Jukai Forest met fantastische met mos bedekte bomen. Bezoek Asama-schrijn, moeders witte waterval, drakengrot, lokale dorpen. 5-6 uur rondleidingen met privébusje en wandelen. Ontspannen, ongehaast, comfortabel. We rijden rond Lake Kawaguchiko en Lake Saiko en stoppen om Mt.Fuji te zien op uitkijkpunten naar keuze. Beginnend bij Asama Shrine, zijn de gigantische cederbomen meer dan 1200 jaar oud. Dit klassieke bosschrijn is het oudste in het gebied en staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van Mt.Fuji. Een verbazingwekkend mooie waterval - Haha no shirataki, Mothers White Falls is dichtbij met een ongeëvenaard uitzicht op de berg Fuji en Kawaguchiko. Vervolgens bezoeken we Oishi Flower Park op weg naar Lake Saiko, het centrum van de Five Lakes rond Mt.Fuji. Daarna bezoeken we Aokigahara Jukai Forest-the Sea of Trees in Yacho no Mori Koen the Wild Birds Forest Park. Hier lopen we door een spectaculair lavarotsbos dat in 864 na Christus is ontstaan door een vulkaanuitbarsting. Met een oppervlakte van 30 vierkante kilometer van een zeer verbazingwekkend gebied. Bezoek vervolgens de Dragon Cave-Ryugu Doketsu, een nationaal monument. Afhankelijk van tijd en weer zijn er meer stops en wandelingen mogelijk, zoals het Climax Forest op Mt.Fuji op 1200 meter. Ten slotte, zonsondergang bij Lake Shoji of Lakes Saiko & Kawaguchiko.

Great guide Chris who is American but has lived in Japan for decades. Brought the area to life for us and did indeed show us some hidden gems. Flexible on schedule and happy to accommodate a quick swim at the end of the day. Connected v well with our teenage kids.
We had the most amazing day out with Chris, such a relaxing and cultural day. Chris is so knowledgeable and takes care of you throughout the day making sure he covers off things you want to ask or see. We went with the flow and soaked up the nature and info ...so loved it. The best of the best we would highly recommend the trip ...we had the WOW factor today.
We had a lovely day with Yumi, taking the time to enjoy beautiful natural details like the different mosses and tree barks, as well as the gorgeous views across the lakes and the occasional glimpse of Fuji through the clouds. The shrine, waterfall and caves were all delightful, and everything was at a relaxed pace. It was lovely to feel like we were off the beaten track. Thank you Yumi!

I've been traveling around Asia and did many guided tours, but what Chris provided to me was different. He genuinely cares to take your interests into account and provide a uniquely shaped experience. Companion, What a great adventure we were able to have in Fujikawaguchiko. Seeing the beautiful lakes, forests, and the waterfall we know as the Mothers White falls, the Aokigahara Forest and Dragon Cave. And then, climbing Mt. Fuji with one of the very best climbers and guides in Asia, Billy Kodama, who led you to the summit. So pleased you could do all that. Your love of nature is clearly evident. What a fabulous day, Chris arrived right on time and was charming from the off. We spent most of the day with Chris who was so well informed about all the sights and history of the area. It was a bit wet at first but Chris provided all the right clothing and boots, We thoroughly enjoyed every minute taking in all the scenery and sights of the Fuji area. Mark, Karen, On a day when the typhoon seemed so ominous, the weather turned nice enough for us to explore the forests and lakes. We (x3 : 68-71yr olds, from NE Scotland) had a great day out with Chris….the perfect guide/host. He was extremely attentive & looked after us…aware of our limitations. Laid back, knowledgeable and ‘in no rush’! We visited an ancient Shrine and world heritage site in the forest dedicated to the Goddess of Mt. Fuji, the Flower Blossom Princess (1200 years old). it was so quiet…..Also a more strenuous climb, but well worth it, to Haha no Shirataki or Mother’s White Falls, with spectacular views of Mount Fuji…. We had lunch at Suggeez Burger joint?…delicious and quirky! Then we went on a slow relaxing drive along Lakes Kawaguchiko & Seiko..including a stop and short walk into the lava rock forest (Aokigahara Jukai Forest or Sea of Trees, formed nearly 1,200 years ago by the largest eruption of Mt. Fuji). Chris also stoped off to let us get a Mexican carry out & some wine & beer! What a great day out….thanks again Chris. 😎🤩

A wonderful and relaxing tour being taken to super locations and with excellent explanations and information on background and history. Yumi was a lovely guide for us, taking care to explain the background and importance of each location We would recommend this trip to anyone, a must do.

Chris was an excellent guide , very informative on the area and more. He was happy to answer all our questions and was considerate to our needs. We never felt hurried and were able to soak up the beautiful views and enjoy the forest walks. My husband took some great shots throughout the day.
