De Vesuvius-tour per bus inclusief toegangskaartje (dat € 11,68 kost) is een unieke gelegenheid om de krater in alle comfort te bezoeken. Vanaf station Ercolano Scavi aan de Circumvesuviana-treinlijn vindt u ons informatiepunt waar u kaarten kunt raadplegen, informatie kunt opvragen en alle hulp kunt krijgen die u nodig heeft voor uw excursie! Als u met de auto komt, zullen we een nabijgelegen parkeerplaats aanbevelen waar u kunt parkeren. Bij ons vindt u vriendelijkheid, gastvrijheid en antwoorden op al uw vragen. Tijdens een stop van anderhalf uur kunt u de krater en het uitzicht op de Golf van Napels bewonderen. Op zonnige dagen raden we altijd aan om vroeg te komen vanwege de grote toestroom van bezoekers. Met ons is de reis naar Vesuvius snel en gemakkelijk. Dankzij deze reservering kunt u de gebruikelijke wachtrijen overslaan en, nog belangrijker, krijgt u een specifieke vertrektijd voor de bus. We wachten op je!

U vertrekt vanaf ons infopunt om in minder dan 30 minuten 1000 meter te bereiken voor een stop van 1 uur en 40 minuten waarin u padnummer kunt beklimmen. 5 van de Gran Cono, terwijl u de adem van de vulkaan en het panorama van de Golf van Napels bewondert. Je kunt in een van de kleine schuilplaatsen stoppen voor een kopje koffie - extra - en een beetje ontspanning, om op te laden en je reis voort te zetten. De bus wacht tot u terugkeert naar het stationsplein en uw bezoek eventueel aan het Archeologisch Park van Herculaneum voortzet. Dit is de enige mogelijkheid om de Vesuvius zonder vertragingen te beklimmen en vooral met het toegangsticket inbegrepen, waarmee u uw reis van tevoren kunt plannen en niet op het laatste moment in de problemen komt, aangezien deze altijd elke dag uitverkocht is. Let op: de geplande inreis kan worden uitgesteld vanwege overmacht die verband houdt met de toestroom van dagelijkse boekingen, daarom zijn geduld en begrip vereist, voor ons is het belangrijkste om u te kunnen laten genieten van de krater!

The office is right in front of the train station, so it was easy to find. This is the only positive. Our bus departed with 38 minutes after the booked hour. No explanation was provided by the employees in the office. We had to ask them repeatedly to give us an estimate of the time the bus would arrive for our trip, as we had to make sure we would be back in due time for our train back to Napoli. No excuses were presented for the delay. The driver was driving recklessly on the narrow winding road to the top of the Vesuvius Mountain, making us feel insecure throughout the trip. However, the trip to the Vesuvius Mountain remains one of the highlights of our vacation in Naples, Italy and no one should miss it - just book with another operator.
To call this a tour is a scam. The train station at Ercolano Scavi was in terrible condition and disgusting. The 'comfortable tour bus' had no air conditioning, which was miserable in 100+ degree weather and the 'tour guide' was non existent. The bus driver and the guy who met us at the entrance were rude and slimy. We were dropped off and told to explore despite being told we would have a guide to explain the history of Mt. Vesuvius. No explanation that there was a volcanologist tour every 15 minutes, so we were unaware of this detail that might have changed our whole experience. And to continuously ask for a tip, nope! Do not book with this company! This was the worst tour we took on our Italian family vacation.
The meeting point was clear and the bus transportation was outstanding 👏. If driving to meeting point yourself, there's a parking garage not more than 75 feet away across the street. Depending on the size of your car the price will very. Very helpful staff !!
Plenty of time to walk up and down and have a drink along the way. Gravel path exposed to the sunlight, appropriate footwear required to avoid slipping. Wonderful views. Well worth it
Great experience. We took took the 9:30am trip. Go into the information center to get your handwritten ticket. Wait outside for the bus. It leaves at the exact time. Don't try to get on an earlier bus. The bus ride up the mountain is 30 minutes. You have about 2 hours at the mountain. It is a very steep 15-20 minute hike until you see the crater. Our tour returned to the starting point on time. There are nice restaurants in the area. We also walked 5 minutes to Herculaneum and discovered you can view it all from above for free. So, we didn't pay to enter.

Very poorly organized tour. Actually a scam, they got a ticket for the Vesuvius Express for a lot of money. He didn't take us with him, had to wait an hour. When we got there, there was no ticket, they had to be bought. You might as well book this trip yourself.

It was fine. Got train from porto nolano to ercolano scavi for just over 2 euros. Tour operator to right of exit. Picked up approx on time and returned approx on time.
It was not a tour. It was a bus ride and a ticket into Vesuvius. He told us absolutely nothing about Vesuvius. We had to wait 15 minutes after the meeting time for him to show up. Save money by buying your ticket from one of two places in Ercolano right by the train station.
Dear Guest thank for your review but I need to clarify to you and tou the other future guestssome aspects: 1. This tour (bus and ticket) is the only chance for all that haven't a ticket and wanna choice a time slot to go up; 2. This tour from Ercolano is the closest to the vulcano being Ercolano the access door to it; 3. Once on the top if you ask to the guide centre for a group guide you will be served directly from the official guides of the Vesuvius National Park I understand everybody of us has lot of expectations but it seems the vision of the cratere didn't leave you nothing, it's a personal feeling but acceptable, anyway the most of the guests are happy also being a service of transfer + ticket. About the waiting time is normale to provide guests on time because sometimes trains can be full of guests reaching us later, so it's a matter of logistic and organization. Best regards Luca
