Ontdek het verbazingwekkende nevelwoud van Costa Rica tijdens deze Sky Tram en Hanging Bridges-tour vanuit San Jose. Je wordt 's ochtends opgehaald bij je hotel in San Jose in een voertuig met airconditioning en reist naar de centrale Stille Oceaan van het land. Geniet van een geweldig uitzicht op het Costa Ricaanse landschap tijdens deze schilderachtige rit, je krijgt een prachtig uitzicht op de Pacifische kust, vulkanische bergketens, boerderijen, bossen en vele lokale steden. Stop later op een plek waar we normaal gesproken veel speelse witkopkapucijnaapjes in hun natuurlijke habitat observeren.
Vervolg uw reis door een paar stops te maken om foto's te maken van de prachtige Golf van Nicoya en de indrukwekkende bergen van Monteverde, de uitzichten zijn spectaculair op heldere dagen.
Geniet van een heerlijke Costa Ricaanse lunch na aankomst in Monteverde en bereid je voor op een ritje met de Sky Tram. Steek het bladerdak van het nevelwoud over tijdens een gondelrit en leer verschillende aspecten van dit zeldzame en kwetsbare ecosysteem met je deskundige gids. Ga dan verder met wandelen op de paden en hangende bruggen van Sky Walk, vanwaar je het beste perspectief op het nevelwoud krijgt vanaf de top terwijl je op de bruggen loopt en vanaf de grond terwijl je op de paden loopt. Dit is een begeleide wandeling waarin je veel interessante aspecten leert van de flora en fauna die op deze plek te vinden zijn, zoals apen, coatimundis, toekans, de zeldzame drie-lelkraanvogel en de verbazingwekkende schitterende Quetzal, de mooiste vogel van Costa Rica . Aan het einde van de Sky Walk-wandeling wordt u teruggebracht naar uw hotel in San Jose (op verzoek kunt u ook worden afgezet in de centraal gelegen hotels in Monteverde).

This was an amazing experience that stands out as one of our favorites in Costa Rica. The forest was lush, misty, and magical. The view of the forest from above the clouds was peaceful and felt spiritual. It was truly awe-inspiring. One of the things that made this trip so special was our guide, Steven (Stephen?). He was exceptionally knowledgeable and genuinely proud to share this part of Costa Rica. Because my phone is older and the camera not so great, he took high-quality photos and video clips using his own phone and then shared them with us. If you have the chance, you should definitely request Steven as your guide when you book. I don't think you will be disappointed.

It was a great experience! Fernando expanded our knowledge of Costa Rica and kept us entertained during the whole journey. Riding the sky tram and walking on the hanging bridges seeing the tree tops feels very refreshing. A lot of greenery out there. They also opened a new glass bridge recently, so you will see everything under your feet.

Great trip. Our driver Brian and guide Steven were fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The tour itself is well organised with the highlight being the Cloud Forest and Hanging Bridges. Lunch was very good. Would recommend this tour. It’s a long day, but well worth it.

We had a great tour with Alex as our knowledgeable guide/driver! We enjoyed the stops along the way (cute monkeys were an highlight) and had a great time exploring the hanging bridges. It was a wonderful way to experience Monteverde from San Jose without the hassle of renting a car and driving on the narrow curving roads. Alex also made a few stops just to enjoy the scenic views so that we could take photos!

It was a long drive with 3 to 4stops .We left 540 and reached park at 1230. Steve, our guide took time to do quick stops at private small coffee farm, gold extraction shop, mini monkey house , small town and cute highway restaurant . He is Very knowledgeable about anything regarding CR. He was thoughtful and helpful.and checked on us . We did the tram and bridge walk and done at 330. Back to SJ hotel at 730 pm.

Amazing experience! Alex Blanco was a fantastic tour guide! He was super patient, incredibly helpful, and very funny. He gave us great recommendations for places to eat and snacks to try, along with helpful tips throughout the excursion, including how to properly feed the monkeys.
