Je hebt maar een paar dagen om de grote sites van Normandië te bezoeken. Je kwam om de DDAY-landing te bezoeken, maar je hebt gehoord van Mont St Michel. Uw gids haalt u op bij uw hotel in de stad Bayeux. Vanaf deze ontmoeting wordt u getransporteerd naar het universum van de middeleeuwen. Deze periode van geschiedenis is zeer rijk aan Normandië en Mont St Michel is ongetwijfeld het mooiste symbool. Je gecertificeerde gids laat je alle aspecten ontdekken en onthult alle geheimen van zijn beroemde abdij. Vanuit deze abdij kijkt u uit over een van de mooiste en grootste zeebaaien ter wereld. Vertrek om 8:00 uur We arriveren rond 9.30 uur om de shuttle te nemen die ons aan de voet van de Mont afzet. We bezoeken het middeleeuwse dorp voordat we naar de abdij gaan die uitkijkt over de baai. Kijk uit voor het adembenemende uitzicht! Aan het einde van het bezoek bieden wij u vrije tijd aan zodat u twee uur kunt eten en volop kunt genieten van de Mont voordat u teruggaat naar Bayeux Een niet te missen ervaring!

This is advertised as a full day tour. Picked up at 0800 and guide talked for short while. Arrived at destination . Waited in line for bus .Then went on tour with guide until 1230. Met him at van at 1410 and left for Bayeux. Guide talked in van about cheese and calvados on the trip home. Seemed less than full day guided tour
Hello As in our tour description we pick you up at 8am and drive you back to Bayeux at 4pm. 8 hrs service is definitively a full day. Your guide went through the village and the the Monastrery from 9h30 to 12h30pm and give you free time for lunch and shopping as we always do. Sorry if you find it too short Regards

Be prepared. It is a steady upward climb toward the top. But well worth the effort. We loved this tour. We learned so much of the history of Mont St Michel. It was a very hot day and lots of people but we could still enjoy the tour. Walking back to visitor center (our choice) was a hot 45 minute ordeal but it was good to see the abbey from the road.

Julie (spelling?), our tour guide, did an excellent job of touring us through Mont-St-Michel. Her descriptions were excellent, she was funny at the appropriate times, and she was fun to be with. Her tour of the Abbey/Monastery never felt rushed. However, we would have liked our 1.5 hours of free time for lunch, exploring on our own, and souvenir shopping to have been an half hour longer, given that simply exiting the Abbey/Monastery took quite a while due to the crowds. Our tour departed promptly at 8:00 AM and returned at 4:00 PM, just as Julie promised. Personally, besides the extra time at Mont-St-Michel, I would have preferred a bit of a delay, as the weather conditions did not present ideal driving conditions on our way back.

The tour was really good! My only complaint was that we signed up for a small group tour, 8 people max., and there were 14 people on our tour. Why were there 14 people on a 8 person tour??? Please respond.
Thank you so much for this review regarding your experience with Goldbeachcompany. We encountered a staffing issue as one of our guides was unavailable on the day of the tour. We felt it was more convenient for our clients to group them into a smaller group of 14 rather than cancel at the last minute. The bus and driver were of premium quality, allowing for easy interaction with the guide. We are truly sorry this was inconvenient for you, but we would never have been able to offer the tour with a large group of 50 people. Sorry again. Enjoy the rest of your stay in France!

Wonderful tour highly recommend Emily. We met our guide Emily and what was to be a party of 8 ended up to be 4. Long story short the tour ended up as a private tour with just Emily and us. Emily was so knowledgeable about the monastery, the history and overall general knowledge of the area. Highly recommend
