DE BEATLES IN BATH 1963 Deze tour door het UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE BATH voor Engels en Duits sprekende bezoekers (minimale deelnemers : 3 personen) is geschikt voor singles, koppels, groepen en privégroepen en begint op de Pulteney Bridge, die leidt naar en een bezoek brengt aan The Pavilion Hall en Photo Gallery waar The Beatles nummers van hun eerste album ‘Please Please Me’ op 10 juni 1963 uitvoerden als onderdeel van hun Britse tour met Roy Orbison. Details zullen worden belicht , hun nalatenschap en waarom hun Hamburgse dagen belangrijk waren om de meest gevierde band aller tijden te worden. Van daaruit gaan we naar het Romeinse bad en de Bath Abbey kerk gevolgd door het live piano optreden van uw gastheer in de Piano Bar van The Square Restaurant tegenover de beroemde Pump Room, waar we Ballads of The Beatles en een eerbetoon aan John Lennon spelen. De verhalen achter elk nummer worden uitgelicht. IN EEN TIJD WAARIN VEEL MUZIKANTEN REAGEERDEN OP DE CULTUUR VAN DE TIJD DAT THE BEATLES HET CREËERDEN.

Ulrich was the perfect guide for this tour. It was so informative and interesting and really exciting visiting the places that the Beatles has been, by the end of it myself and my Son really felt we had learnt a lot. Ulrich also showed us some of his own personal memorabilia which really brought it all to life. We was also treated to some beautiful piano, playing by Ulrich aswell. It really was a very memorable tour. Thank you Ulrich ☺️.

Hi Jacki Not quite getting your point . My impression was that you both were quite satisfied with the tour and information provided. As mentioned in my booking site I also offered to play a tribute to John Lennon on the piano in a restaurant however you chose not to take up that offer. Take care Ulrich
A huge thank you to Ulrich and Viator for this tour in Bath. We only had few hours in Bath and this tour certainly ticked the box for us. Ulrich was very informative on Bath and its history and we not only got a great overview but we walked to all the important historical sites. Great chats along the way about the Beatles too and where they once performed. Thank you Ulrich for a great informative easy tour and an entertaining afternoon.
Ullrich is a great tour guide and we were blessed with a private tour! He offered so much historical information about the city of Bath and walked us through areas we would not have gone to. He showed us the venue where the Beatles performed in 1963 and gave us some history about their days in Hamburg. It was nice to chat about the Beatles and see the city sites of York. Ullrich is quite the amazing guy!

We got very detailed info about facts related to Bath history. Ulrich was very personable throughout the 2+ hours of walking around the city. Be prepared to walk up some gentle inclines. We were on foot the entire time. Beatle fans beware. I recommend the Beatle connection be eliminated totally because the only discussion of them was the fact they performed at one of the buildings we walked by.
Want to give a shout out to Ulrich for conducting such a marvelous tour and we did learn quite alot about the history of Bath and such great stories about the Beatles I had not heard about and I know quite alot about them. Want to know more about Bath and the Beatles then this walking tour is for you !! Thanks Viator and Ulrich for making our trip to Bath all the more memorable !
Brilliant afternoon. Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to places we had walked by before and not even noticed. His Beatles knowledge was great.
We had only one day to spend in this amazing city, and are so glad we chose to book this tour. It was a relaxing yet very complete overview of the most important sites and history. The guide was extremely knowledgeable on every question we asked, from places to go, to architecture to the Beatles. Highly recommend!
