Bezoek de grootste oude begraafplaats die er bestaat en ontdek de verbazingwekkende verhalen achter de Terracotta figuren. Proef het favoriete eten van de lokale bevolking in een geselecteerd restaurant (op eigen kosten). Profiteer van slim getimede arrangementen en geen bezoek aan toeristische winkels. Als de top classificatie op TripAdvisor en de beroemdste site van Xi'an, halve dag excursie is meer geschikt voor het korte verblijf bezoekers.

Er zijn drie kuilen uitgegraven en deze kunnen worden bezocht. De grootste put, Pit 1, bevat naar schatting 6.000 krijgers (slechts 2.000 zijn te zien) en paarden. Ze zijn allemaal levensgroot, op het oosten gericht en staan in slagorde opgesteld. Wat vooral opvalt, is dat er geen twee hetzelfde zijn. Pit 2, die kleiner is dan Pit 1, bevat ongeveer 1.300 krijgers en paarden en wordt nog steeds opgegraven. Het is vermeldenswaard dat de beeldjes van generaal, de soldaat op het paard en de knielende soldaat de eersten waren die in deze put werden ontdekt. De kleinste put, Pit 3, bevat 72 krijgers en paarden en wordt beschouwd als het hoofdkwartier van het leger vanwege het aantal hoge officieren dat daar is opgegraven. De Bronzen Chariot Pit toont twee beschilderde bronzen strijdwagens op grote schaal in een klein museum rechts van de hoofdingang. De bronzen strijdwagens zijn de vroegste, grootste en best bewaarde bronzen artefacten ter wereld, gekroond als "de koning van bronswaren".

I went to the Terracotta Warriors and the trip was amazing, the site and the 3 pits are so awesome you could stay there hours to gaze at them. Phoebe our guide was excellent, so nice and so prepared on the history and so in love with her job you could tell from the way she introduced every single details. I loved it! I would recommend it but Ask for Phoebe!!! She is the best with a great English!! Well done Not to be missed. Lunch was typical and good Just the price probably a little too much

An excellent guide who knows history well and knows how to make everything interesting. There were 3 of us who quickly formed a good group. The AM we visited the ramparts and the city what I highly recommend
At first, I wasn't sure which tour company to go with, and I ran across Elena's tour packages Tripadvisor and decided to give it a go. The tour was amazing, she was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history of China and Terracotta warriors. We spent about a couple hours at the museum and then were headed to a local Muslim restaurant where Elena helped order 2 great dishes for me. She made sure I had a great time throughout the tour. I'll surely come back with my family and take Elena's tour again. 5/5 rating for me!

The tour was absolutely perfect. The Teracotta army blew my mind and I’m so glad that I booked a guided tour and so glad that Lilly was the guide. My visit was during the National Holiday, So I expected large crowds. I underestimated the crowds. Elina and the driver were great, Because of the traffic we got a late start, however it didn't defer from the day. This is truly the 8th wonder of the world. Elina had tons of information and explanations. I highly recommend Trippest Mini Group tours. the best tour group I have used in the past 30 years... The Warriors was top notch but so was the lunch following, great family style to try a couple of dishes. I will use Trippest again. Thanks for a wonderful day. Bruce

I did this small group tour as I was traveling alone in China. There was 4 of us and our guide, Rosa. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was very good. It was nice to be in a small group so it was easy to move about without waiting on people and we had many opportunities to ask her questions or slow down if we wanted to. The terra-cotta were amazing! The tour included lunch at a traditional Chinese restaurant and it was fantastic. I would do this again.
We had a small group tour (5 of us) using a comfortable van that picked us up at our hotels. Our guide, Richard, was great - enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Took us to the best locations for viewing and photos. All three sites for the terracotta warriors are fascinating. We had plenty of time to wander. Lunched at a beautiful resort restaurant. We also toured the ancient city wall (highly recommend biking the perimeter!). The other guests left early so Richard gave me a private tour of Muslim Street and gave excellent advice for souvenirs and tasty treats. Highly recommend this tour and Richard in particular!
