Reis de Milford Road in onze luxe en comfortabele voertuigen die speciaal zijn ontworpen voor kleine groepen reizen naar Milford Sound vanuit Queenstown. Moderne gemakken zoals kuip lederen zetels, uitgebreide beenruimte, high performance airconditioning, kleine tas opslagruimte & USB opladen. Geleid door ons lokale Expert commentaar, nemen we je mee naar alle belangrijke foto & ervaring stops, maar voegen we ook een paar extra speciale toe die hier niet vermeld staan. Bij aankomst in Milford Sound wacht uw twee uur durende natuurcruise op u aan boord van onze cruisepartnersboot - de Milford Haven. U kunt dineren in een restaurant en een bar, waar u kunt genieten van een warme of koude lunch terwijl de bergen, watervallen en wilde dieren voorbij trekken. Wij reserveren stoelen & tafels op de cruise zodat u uw eigen gegarandeerde ruimte binnen de boot heeft.

We stoppen in het prachtige township Te Anau voor een uitgebreide pauze van 30 minuten. We stoppen bij een café aan het meer, zodat u een kopje koffie / snack kunt krijgen, de badkamer kunt gebruiken en het prachtige meer met uitzicht op de bergen kunt verkennen.
Eglinton Valley biedt een prachtig contrast van groene, inheemse bush bedekte bergen, tegen de voorgrond van tan velden. Gasten krijgen de kans om de lange weelderige velden te verkennen. Mooi op elk moment van het jaar.
Deze korte natuurwandeling van 2 minuten over goed gevormde paden en promenades brengt u bij de rustige Mirror Lakes, het decor van de Earl Mountains erachter. Dit is een uitdaging voor elke reizende fotograaf om de essentie van de meren vast te leggen - hun spiegelreflectie.
We stoppen verder in de Eglinton Valley bij Knobs Flat Camp om de badkamers te gebruiken. Deze halte ligt op ongeveer 60 minuten van Te Anau, onze vorige badkamerpauze.
We stoppen bij de Hollyford Lookout, hoog boven de Hollyford Valley. Hier krijgt u een waardering voor de gletsjers die deze valleien hebben uitgesleten. Een foto gelegenheid en een kans om de benen te strekken.
Monkey Creek is een prachtige gletsjer gevoede waterval / beek en is een gemeenschappelijke ruimte om de Kea te ontmoeten, een bergpapegaai die alleen voorkomt op het Zuidereiland van Nieuw-Zeeland. Dit is een kans om een close-up foto te maken van deze brutale vogels.
We stoppen net buiten de Homertunnel aan de westelijke kant, met uitzicht op de prachtige Cleddauvallei. Omringd door trapsgewijze verticale bergwanden kijkt u de vallei af naar onze route naar Milford Sound. Een van de hoogtepunten van de dag.
Onze bestemming voor de tour is het prachtige Milford Sound, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed. We brengen 2,5 uur door in Milford Sound, meestal aan boord van uw natuurcruise waar u de hele fjord, ontmoetingen met wilde dieren, watervallen en al het moois dat er te zien is, zult ervaren.
We keren terug naar Queenstown, via de township Te Anau (de enige route terug) en stoppen zodat je wat eten kunt halen en de badkamer kunt gebruiken.

Wees 10 minuten voor het ophalen bij uw ophaalpunt. In sommige gevallen moet je een Uber/Taxi nemen om van je accommodatie naar het door jou gekozen ophaalpunt te komen, omdat ze zeer beperkt of geen parkeergelegenheid hebben.

Our family trip to Milford Sound was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our New Zealand holiday. From the moment Tommy picked us up until he dropped us back at the end of the day, everything was absolutely first class. Tommy from Luxe was exceptional. His knowledge of the region was incredible, and he shared so many fascinating facts and stories throughout the journey that we felt like we experienced so much more than just the destination. He was patient, kind, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had the best possible day. The little stops along the way made all the difference. Tommy knew exactly where to pull over for the most spectacular views and photo opportunities, and he even took some beautiful family photos for us. We were also lucky enough to see the cheeky kea birds in action, which was such a highlight! Tommy was our tour guide on our first-ever trip with Luxe Tours from Queenstown to Milford Sound, and he made the whole experience unforgettable. The tour was absolutely worth the cost, and we’d love to do it again in the future. Tommy was friendly, approachable, and made the day feel relaxed from start to finish. Although it was a long day, we never felt bored or exhausted - it has been one of my highlight trips of all time. Tommy took heaps of photos for our group, shared great knowledge and stories about Milford Sound and the stops along the way, and even gave us some awesome local recommendations for our return back to Queenstown. The bus was super comfortable with plenty of leg room, and we appreciated being able to relax and even get some sleep on the drive back to Queenstown. having less people compared to a tour buses meant the entire experience was very comfortable (we had time to truly enjoy each site and take photos without being rushed etc). the whole day just felt comfortablr and well organised. the guide tommy was also very friendly and his commentary about the sites etc the entire day while driving was genuinely so interesting and informative. would highly recommend

We recently did this tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The scenery was incredible, but the real highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Adrian. Adrian, was friendly, highly informative, funny, and just an all-round legend. He made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish and really added so much to the experience with his knowledge and personality. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. The smaller sized group made it possible to stop at different locations along the way which made it much more personal. We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

OMG! Where do I start? First of all to apologise it’s taken me so long to write a review - certainly not because the service wasn’t amazing!! I cannot praise and thank Adrian enough. There is nothing I can write to describe how amazing our trip to Milford sound really was; one of the best days and our favourite part of our trip to NZ. And that was all thanks to Adrian. We couldn’t have been luckier to have such a lovely, kind, thoughtful, funny, entertaining and truly wonderful guide. Adrian went above and beyond for us - with the entertaining and informative info and stories he had, the way he checked in with us to see if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything, the way he never once complained about being asked to take a thousand photos for me, and the way he just made our tour absolutely amazing. It snowed on our trip and I have to praise him also for his careful and responsible driving - we felt extremely safe with him. It was such a long day, but we didn’t want it to end and would have been very happy to stay on the bus for longer 😊 Honestly, this day made our NZ trip amazing.
