Stap aan boord van onze prachtige catamarans met drie dekken en geniet van een mooie cruise langs de spectaculaire Milford Sound. Maak kennis met de torenhoge bergen, steile kliffen en hangende valleien van de fjord terwijl de boot tijdens de twee uur durende cruise de randen van de fjord omhelst. Voel de spray van de watervallen die uit een oud regenwoud hoog in de bergen stromen en kijk uit naar Nieuw-Zeelandse pelsrobbenkolonies en af en toe dolfijnen die in de buurt zwemmen. De cruise gaat over de volledige lengte van de fjord naar de Tasmanzee en keert terug langs de andere kant. Tijdens de verkenning passeer je iconische bezienswaardigheden zoals Bowen Falls, Mitre Peak, Copper Point, Fairy Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Dale Point, Seal Rock en natuurlijk Stirling Falls.

Smaller boat made it a more intimate cruise with the friendly informative crew having more time per passenger. Complimentary hot drinks were an added bonus to take the chill off.

Wonderful experience. Great for families. Comfortable catamaran. Plenty of room around the vessel to view Milford. Very knowledgeable captain. Tea, coffee and snacks were great. I would highly recommend this tour.

A definite must do experience! Absolutely amazing with stunning views the entire trip! Even with rain (way more waterfalls if it rains) the experience was fantastic!

Amazing cruise with excellent commentary! I’m a kiwi and learnt soooooo much about the history of this part of our land, all with a great sense of humour too. Boat was very comfortable, will 100% be coming back to do it again.

Cruise was nice, but they charge in USD which is very misleading and looks like a scam on purpose

This boat was an excellent one for the experience as it had many seats and table tables inside, along with a café to get food. It’s one of the only boats that tour Milford sound which offer this option. But even better, there are great viewing opportunities outside and up top, which we took full advantage of. The tour took us all around the sound, and we saw all the waterfalls, as well as going out into the Tazman Sea for a ways, and then turning around to come back into the sound. The captain talked quite a bit, although it was more difficult to hear outside, but overall, I highly recommend this tour, which was also a very competitive price.

Even on a good day, layers are helpful as the weather changes. Sandflies also vicious in the area so be prepared.

Excellent like a dream. It was raining . We loved the waterfalls. Get spare clothing and shoes to change after the trip. Pure milford ship was unreal.

The cruise at Milford is one of the best things to do in New Zealand. It's a remarkable place with outstanding beauty and scenery. You can see many waterfalls, fjords, and experience the open sea too. There are many photo/video opportunities. People come from around the world to experience it. There is also a buffet lunch around 1pm on the Milford Monarch. I would definitely do this again. I recommend taking the bus in and out of Te Anau/Queenstown.
