Mikumi National Park ligt aan de noordelijke grens van Afrika's grootste wildreservaat - de SELOUS - en vormt een uniek ecosysteem. De open horizon en de overvloedige flora en fauna van de Mkata Floodplain, het modieuze middelpunt van Mikumi, trekken regelmatig vergelijkingen met de bekendere Serengeti Plains. Sommige gevlekte leeuwen onderzoeken hun met gras begroeide koninkrijk, en kuddes zebra's, giraffen, olifanten, wildebeesten, impala's en buffels trekken door het park. Deze tour begint om 07.00 uur vanaf de luchthaven van Zanzibar en arriveert om 08.00 uur op Mikumi Airstrip, ontvangen door onze safarigids. Direct start je een safari-gamedrive door het wildrijke gebied van de Mkata-vlaktes. De vlakte is zeer beroemd om zijn concentraties van dieren in het wild. Ook een bezoek aan de beroemde Hippo-poel waar velen water komen drinken. Een warme lunch tijdens de lunch vervolgt je reis met het verkennen van de Afrikaanse struiken voordat je rond 15.30 uur terugkeert naar de landingsbaan voor je vlucht terug naar Zanzibar.

An incredible experience, difficult to explain, we were very lucky to see two prides of lionesses with their lion king, wow, elephants we could almost touch, our guide brought us so close that it was impressive, the giraffes ufff what elegance, my daughter was crazy to see the 🐊 and we were able to please her. An UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE, and all thanks to our guide Fidelis, who with patience and care knew how to find various animals in that great park. Thank you Thank you Thank you. See you soon.

Rachid the guide and Nexon the safari driver, they are excellent and very professional. We were able to see all the animals thanks to their talent as a guide and driver. We had a magnificent trip. Great day on safari, top-notch French-speaking guide. However, the departure from the hotel is too early: 3:30 AM for an arrival at the airport at 5:45 AM and boarding at 7:00 AM on a 12-seat plane
