Micil Whiskey Experience 1 - Whisky & Poitín

Beschrijving

Our guide was very knowledgeable and presented in an excellent way. The experience was worth the time and money. The Irish cream was delicious!! Wish we could get the whiskey and Irish cream in the states. 😊
I forgot that this is a micro distillery therefore I was looking for a large facility and not the installation accessed through the bar - so if you head here and I'd recommend a visit, read the instructions on the email. :-) Our tour guide, Aoife, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the product and company. The Whiskey & Poitín tasting was a very enjoyable experience. Plenty of produce to buy in the bar afterwards.
Great experience for tourists and locals as well. We live in galway and it was enjoyable way to spend time and get known a lot about whiskey and poitin history . Aoife was great ! Recommended 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟
We had a great visit with Micil. Our guide walked us through some of their history and their unique ingredients and methods. The tasting was fun and we had the opportunity to sample some of their other products after it was over. We bought a bottle of the Irish Cream to take home
Brilliant - highly recommend this visit. Friendly , informative and nice whisky. Jessia and Aiofe were brilliant
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The whiskey poitin and gin were all amazing. Left with a couple bottles. Absolutely recommend.
Fantastic event! I've been to several Micil tasting events and every time I've been delighted with the experience. Staff is super nice and always happy to share their knowledge 😊 The cheese pairing was amazing!
Very nice and friendly people! You can touch and feel their passion. Good history lesson and excellent whiskey tasting. Note: this is mostly a tasting event, the distillery show is just a quick look (noting wrong with that, just be aware)
The young lady simply rambled through her text. There was no consideration for other languages, even when asked to speak a bit slower so that we could understand. A printed page in German was therefore of little help. This is no way to win customers....
Aoife knows what's up and brings the local knowledge. She gladly let us join the tour experience without a res and took excellent care of the group of six visitors. Great stories and explanations of the differences between whiskeys and Poitin, an Irish moonshine, including their histories. The experience included tastes of four, maybe five distillates. Micil's poitin stands out as the most Irish and local drinks. Seriously delish! Their whiskeys are likewise remarkable. The distillery is in the back of the OSLO brewpub, which is a great place for some local brews. Thank Heaven you can even buy a bottle of Micil at the Dublin Airport if your bags are already heavy!
