Tijdens deze tour verken je de rivier de Mersey (naar mijn mening een van de mooiste plekken in het park om te peddelen). Rendez-vous op het Whynot Adventure HQ (Jake's Landing) 15 minuten voordat de tour begint. We hebben een grote parkeerplaats net voordat u op onze locatie aan de rivier aankomt. We raden aan om een camera mee te nemen, want deze tour zit vol met fotografie-opties voor dieren in het wild (ik weet dat je aan elanden en beren denkt, maar in Keji zijn we gespecialiseerd in schildpadden, gigantische brulkikkers, muskusrat, bevers en witstaartherten, oh en soms een zwemmen eekhoorn). Tijdens deze rondleiding leert u misschien over 'Keji-thee' of hoort u de legende van Jim Charles 'Gold, terwijl u met uw kano of kajak de rivier op met tussenstops om de magie te ontdekken en meer te weten te komen over enkele geheimen van Keji. Deze tour is een 'out n'back', zodat je kunt genieten van de zachte stroming op de weg terug naar Jake's Landing.

We arrived to be greeted by a very friendly Team, gearing us up quickly and giving us advice on the best turtle spotting route. We had a great experience on the water and saw lots of turtles throughout our paddle. A+

This was the highlight of our quick stay at Keji! The whole family enjoyed the tour! As a person who was organizing the trip I really appreciate the flexibility of the booking- I made the booking way in a advance but closer to the day the forecast did not look good. I did email to the office very early in the morning and received the prompted reply with the confirmation of the adjustment of our booking. Upon arrival was very pleased and proud of our Nova Scotian hospitality! Very friendly staff, gave the direction, safety instructions, extended our time line so our group can enjoy the whole 2 hours on the water! It was a beautiful day, nice trip and lots of memories was made! Thank you very much! P.S. I really like the personalised itinerary that also added to the emails with the hidden jams of our province! Maybe not right away but eventually I will check them out!
This was an amazing experience. An afternoon in a canoe or kayak on the Mersey River is just what you need! We took the guided tour and it was nicely paced and not difficult - 2 hours. I will be going back to explore the river on my own now that I have been introduced. The staff were very experienced and helpful. I highly recommend
This was my first solo trip ever and I’m so happy I picked keji and booked with why not adventures. From booking till the moment I returned my equipment everything was just perfect , the customer service was warm and friendly and of the highest standard. I will definitely be back and will be booking another rental.
We took out 2 canoes for the 2 hr. period and headed up the Mersey River, 2 adults and 2 seniors. We saw lots of turtles sunning themselves, on rocks and downed trees. With my son doing most of the paddling, we explored finding a route through the reeds, while my husband and daughter took a more leisurely route along the main river. It was very calm and very beautiful, and hardly any other people. After returning to the dock with time to spare, my son and daughter took one canoe out into the lake, where the wind can make paddling more difficult. The staff at the dock were very helpful and pleasant throughout and overall, it was a great adventure.
Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic. We had an enjoyable kayak experience.
