Ervaar de schoonheid van de wildernis van Alaska tijdens dit 3,5-4 uur durende avontuur naar de Mendenhall-gletsjer. Dit avontuur begint bij de aanlegsteigers van het cruiseschip, waar een deskundige gids de gegarandeerde kleine groep zal overbrengen op een vertelde reis van 30 minuten naar de West Glacier-bootlancering in het Tongass National Forest. Gasten kleden zich in waterdichte uitrusting van topkwaliteit en na een snelle peddelles lanceren ze de kano op het Mendenhall-meer om de reis te beginnen. Omringd door steile kliffen gevuld met noordse sterns, berggeiten, stekelvarkens en andere dieren in het wild; geniet van de sereniteit van dit avontuur tot diep in Alaska. Voel hoe de koele frisse lucht van de gletsjer komt terwijl de gids de kano veilig navigeert naar de beste uitzichtpunten van de blauwe spleten en seracs op de teen van de Mendenhall-gletsjer. Wees een van de weinigen die weggaat van de drukte en oog in oog komt te staan met de gletsjer. Deze Tour is alleen kanoën en IS NIET INCLUSIEF een wandeling.

Liquid Alaska Tours haalt gasten op bij de cruiseschipdokken en hun ervaring begint daar. Dit is een 4-uur durende all-inclusive tour, inclusief 2 uur peddelen rond het Mendenhall-meer om de Mendenhall-gletsjer te zien en de wildernis van Alaska te ervaren in het Tongass National Forest, het grootste National Forest in de Verenigde Staten.

This was the absolute highlight of my trip! Our guide, Brady, was absolutely fantastic—super knowledgeable, encouraging, and kept the entire group safe and entertained the whole time. He went above and beyond with fun facts about the glacier and the local ecosystem, making the trip both exciting and educational.
Mike and Elisha were absolutely amazing hosts. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the whole tour. Great time.
Hannah is an amazing guide. She was hilarious. We had a great experience at the lake seeing wildlife, Nugget Falls, and the glaciers. We got a chance to hold the glacier ice too. Thanks a lot to Hannah :)
Hannah was our tour guide. Courteous and thorough guide. Even threw in some corny jokes for fun. It was a windy day and she made sure that we got as close as possible to the glacier as well as Nugget Falls. Overall, it was a great tour. Equipment provided was in great condition. Pickup and drop-off were on time. Very recommended tour.

Elymus and Cortland were fantastic guides, and the scenery could not be beat. Most beautiful lake ever, with a waterfall! Canoeing across the lake took a little effort but wasn't too hard (they said 6.1 miles there and back but felt shorter), and then a very short hike on the other side to get some great visuals of the glacier! Highly highly recommend!

Chris was amazing! Very informative and we loved the jokes! It was an amazing experience getting so close to the glacier. It was a lot of work, but that’s what we signed up for. Would definitely recommend.

It was great. Better than last time, though the glacier has receded to the edge of the lake. Tor did a great job keeping the info flowing and she is VERY comfortable out in nature and had plenty to share. Stacie must have raised her right. We were fortunate to have great weather with only minimal katabatic winds - still a plenty good workout, so bring your shoulders in ship shape.
