Begin je dag zonder stress met een comfortabele pick-up direct vanuit je accommodatie in Dubrovnik. Uw dag begint met een schilderachtige rit door de prachtige landschappen van Herzegovina, met adembenemende uitzichten onderweg. Bij aankomst in Medjugorje heeft u de mogelijkheid om de plaatsen te verkennen die miljoenen pelgrims hebben aangetrokken sinds de gerapporteerde verschijningen van de Maagd Maria in 1981 begonnen.
Scenic Drive naar Bosnië & Herzegovina : Ontspan in een premium Mercedes-voertuig terwijl u door de prachtige Adriatische kustlijn naar het hart van Herzegovina reist. We gebruiken kleine groepen om de snelste grensovergang mogelijk te maken.
Comfort Break : Een korte stop onderweg voor versnaperingen en om je benen te strekken voordat je aankomt op de heilige plaatsen.
St. James Church & The Risen Christ : Verken de iconische St. James Church, het middelpunt van de parochie. Neem de tijd om het symbolische pad te beklimmen, bid bij de Bronzen Reliëfs van de Rozenkrans en ervaar de diepe stilte en het panoramische uitzicht op de vallei.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Houd er rekening mee dat de ophaaltijden per locatie verschillen. De tour begint om 6.30 uur, en uw pick-up zal plaatsvinden voor de starttijd. Zorg ervoor dat u onze berichten in de gaten houdt voor uw exacte ophaaltijd en neem contact met ons op als u deze niet hebt ontvangen. Houd er rekening mee dat de tour niet kan wachten op gasten die niet op tijd zijn. Vanwege de verkeersregels van de stad worden alle gasten die in de oude binnenstad verblijven opgehaald bij Pile Gate en afgezet bij Vila Dard (Pera Bakica 11) - een wandeling van 10 minuten van Pile Gate. Pick-ups voor deze tour zijn beschikbaar tot Slano, omdat de tour in die richting reist. Zoek naar zwarte of witte Mercedes voertuigen met het oranje Amico Tours logo, kentekens DU2006 - onze verjaardag :) Denk aan je paspoort! Sommige landen staan reizigers toe om in plaats daarvan een nationaal identiteitsbewijs te gebruiken, dus zorg ervoor dat u voor de reis controleert wat voor u van toepassing is. Well, the only thing I requested was a guide in Spanish, but she was very kind and tried at all times to ensure we understood each other.

We went on a tour to Medjugorje and were anxious about the trip and bus/car ride etc. We couldn't believe how amazingly kind and helpful Kate in the office was ... suffice to say, we slept well the night before. We were picked up by Ante and he is hands-down the best guide and driver we have ever had in all of our traveling years. Above and beyond all of his knowledge and his charismatic personality, he was exceptionally safe on the road. Put simply, this travel company is nothing short of outstanding in every regard.

We were given the chance to explore Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the highlights was the climb to the Apparition Hill in Medjugorje. It happened on a winter season so that there only few people visiting the place during this time. I find it worthy of being able to see and feel the sanctity of the place. This is something to consider when you are looking for places of spiritual worship to uplift your Christian faith

We just want to thank you for a wonderful trip to Medjugorje today from Dubrovnik with our guide Gabriel! He was fabulous kept everything on time, so informative and interesting, the whole day was amazing. Plenty of time to climb the Apparition Hill and go to Mass in St James Church, and have a walk around. We stopped at a beautiful outdoor viewing point to have a drink on the way home and he also showed us some 500 year old trees. Nothing felt rushed we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves and the small group of 7 made it even more personable. We were all friends by the end of the day. Thanks also to Kate in the office in Dubrovnik for giving us all the information we needed for the trip!!!

A day of travel, discovery, and wonder. Since reading the book “Visions of the Children,” I’ve had the desire to visit Medjugorje. I’d heard about all the commercialization surrounding the site, so I wasn’t surprised at what I saw. The tour was well organized. The transportation was comfortable and our guide and driver were great. The climb is going to be difficult for many. You really have to watch your step. We had time to attend mass and get a bite to eat. We had no interest in the shops. There were rest stops to and from the site where refreshments and toilets were available. All-in-all a long day but really good experience.

We were disappointed in this tour. They were 30 minutes late for picking us up. The ride from Dubrovnik to Medjorge was somewhat informative. With our late start our time up at the statue was cut short. The guide didn’t really explain much about the various parts of the pilgrimage. When we returned to Dubrovnik we were dropped off at a location that was 45 minutes from our Airbnb. Besides the amount of time allowed for re teer. Shopping , the whole day seemed rushed. I am sure there are better trips out there

Please note that pick-ups are not an exact science; we kindly ask all our guests to be understanding of + 10 min changes that can occur because of traffic conditions. Regarding the drop-off location, due to city traffic regulations in Dubrovnik, we are not able to drop off people at Pile Gate in the afternoon; this was all communicated in advance. We dropped you off 10 minutes ' walk from Pile Gate. We do our best to assist guests with directions for the remainder of their journey. We also appreciate your comments about the itinerary and guiding. The time at the Pilgrimage is for self-exploration, prayer and reflection; the guide was not supposed to accompany you at this point. This was your free time. Your observations help us to improve and ensure that future guests have a more fulfilling experience. Trip was to Medjugorje in Bosnia. Driver Nicco and tour guide Mathieu were excellent. Very informative. We had four hours to visit apparition hill to see the Blessed Mother Mary and the crosses of Jesus. This was a very holy and inspirational trip. We also saw the first mosque in Bosnia on the way back to Dubrovnik. Well worth the 5 hour round trip drive.
