Stap terug in de tijd tijdens deze 3 uur durende rondleiding naar Medina Azahara vanuit Córdoba. Ook bekend als de 'Bright City', Medina Azahara zijn de ruïnes van een groot, versterkt Arabisch moslim middeleeuws paleis dat dateert uit de 10e eeuw; toen Spanje onder Moorse heerschappij stond. Na een korte busreis neemt u een 90 minuten durende rondleiding om meer te weten te komen over de fascinerende geschiedenis van het complex. Bezoek het museum op het terrein, bekijk een video en bekijk de overblijfselen van de moskeeën, ceremoniële zalen, paleizen en workshops.

De busverkoop aan de parada GLORIETA CRUZ ROJA, tegenover hotel Eurostars Palace. The guide was very informative. The welcome video helped to explain what would’ve been there. Some restoration gives you an idea of the splendour. The day was very hot and it was like an oven, which made it quite a challenge.

Our guide was Miguel Ángel, a 10 not to be missed, very entertaining, educational, entertaining and fun. Even in the heat it is worth doing it.
Despite some problems the date of the tour happened (I got a message saying I had to go to the offices of the company to ask for the bus tickets or we wouldn't be allowed to take it. I noticed it just one hour before the tour started and had to run to their office, for they to tell me the information was wrong and I just to show up at the appointed place, so then I had to run to the bus stop) we enjoyed it. Our guide, Claudia, was amazing. I loved her energy, enthusiasm and how ready she was to answer any doubt you had about the site. I send her a lot of love, she really made our visit to Madinat al-Zahra something special.
