ISLAND TOUR is het beste dagje uit op Mallorca : neem de Soller trein, neem een boot langs de kustlijn, bezoek La Calobra en geniet van een tramrit terwijl u getuige bent van de prachtige landschappen van Mallorca. Een hoogtepunt van de tour als je uit het noorden komt, is stoppen bij de emblematische "Nudo de la Corbata"-weg van La Calobra, waar je de kans hebt om wat foto's te nemen en te genieten van een drankje in de schilderachtige omgeving vanaf de hoogten. In het geval van het zijn van de zuidelijke gebied pick-ups, zullen we genieten van 40 minuten in Lluc. In beide gevallen verkennen we het Calobra strand en het kristalheldere water. De volgende halte met de boot is het charmante kustplaatsje Port Soller, geniet van een lunch op uw gemak en stap vervolgens aan boord van de lokale tram voor een pittoreske rit naar Soller, waar uw Gids u door de hoogtepunten van het dorp zal nemen. We beginnen onze excursie door per bus de Serra de Tramuntana binnen te gaan, de ruggengraat van Mallorca. Een natuurlijke schoonheid gevoed door cultuur, tradities en een sterke identiteit, waar de eerste reizigers die van het eiland genoten, in de 19e eeuw arriveerden. De uitersten, Formentor in het noordoosten en La Trapa in het zuidwesten, zijn zo'n 90 kilometer van elkaar gescheiden, waarlangs u talloze uitkijkpunten, turkooisblauwe stranden en stenen dorpjes vindt die zeker een bezoek waard zijn.
Geniet van de busreis terwijl je door dit prachtige stuk bergwegen reist met uitleg van de gids over alle verschillende punten die we tegenkomen, zoals het Lluc-klooster, de Puig Mayor en de Torrente de Pareis-stroom. Tijdens dit deel van de reis krijgt u de gelegenheid om een van de meest spectaculaire wegen van Europa te zien, degene die naar Sa Calobra leidt. De weg naar Sa Calobra is in totaal 13 kilometer lang en is aangelegd in 1932. Terwijl we deze afdalen, ervaart u een uniek uitzicht op de omgeving.
Bewonder het adembenemende uitzicht op de rotsformaties aan de westkust van Mallorca terwijl je over een winderige weg naar La Calobra rijdt. Hier heeft u vrije tijd om het dorp te verkennen, een hapje te eten in een van de kleine cafés rond de haven (op eigen kosten) of te ontspannen aan het adembenemende strand. Als u door de indrukwekkende bergtunnel loopt, kunt u de prachtige "Torrente de Pareis" bezoeken, een ander deel van het strand van Sa Calobra.
De Torrent de Pareis werd duizenden jaren geleden gevormd in het midden van het Tramuntana-gebergte, een kloof van meer dan 3 kilometer lang die tussen kloven loopt tot hij de beroemde baai van Sa Calobra bereikt. Deze kloof van kalksteenrotsen is in de loop van de tijd gesmeed door de erosieve werking van stromend water. Het is nu een echt middelpunt voor sportieve activiteiten geworden vanwege de formaties en vanwege het absoluut adembenemende uitzicht!
Het volgende deel van de tour begint als we aan boord gaan van een moderne boot voor een rit van 40 minuten. Deze boottocht brengt ons van Sa Calobra naar de haven van Soller, terwijl we langs de kust varen, zult u getuige zijn van de schoonheid van Mallorca op een manier die uw verwachtingen zal overtreffen. Observeer vanaf zee oude verdedigingstorens, baaien, kliffen, zeegrotten en kleine eilanden. Dit zijn beelden die je voor altijd bij je zult houden!
Zodra we in de haven van Soller aankomen, is het tijd om de Soller-tram te nemen. De reis duurt ongeveer 25 minuten en eindigt bij het klassieke treinstation van Soller in Soller Town. Tijdens deze rit gaan we door boomgaarden vol citroen- en sinaasappelbomen, het beroemdste landschap van Soller, en de tram brengt ons dwars door de stad zelf.
Zodra we met de tram vanuit Puerto Soller in de prachtige stad Soller aankomen, hebben we tijd voor een kort bezoek aan het charmante historische centrum voordat we aan boord gaan van de beroemde houten trein van Soller. We volgen de oorspronkelijke reis die in de 100 jaar dat hij bestaat nauwelijks is veranderd.
Het hoogtepunt van deze Mallorca Eilandtour is voor velen de treinreis. Deze ervaring zal de finishing touch zijn waardoor je helemaal verliefd wordt op het eiland. Je gaat aan boord van de wereldberoemde houten trein van Soller, gebouwd in 1912. De trein doorkruist de vallei van Soller terwijl hij door verschillende tunnels gaat en ons een bevoorrecht uitzicht op de vallei geeft als we de stad Bunyola bereiken en we stoppen om uit te stappen bij het Son Reus-station . Daar wacht onze coach ons op om ons terug te brengen naar waar we eerder op de dag aan de tour begonnen.

- Als de boottocht naar Sa Calobra wordt geannuleerd, in plaats van de bus naar Sa Calobra te nemen, gaan we rechtstreeks naar Port de Sóller met de bus en genieten van een boottocht rond de baai daar. Deze wijziging voorkomt lange wachttijden in Sa Calobra (tot 13:30) en voorkomt dat de tramrit in Sóller wordt gemist vanwege wegbeperkingen.

We had a great time with Juan, the guide, he was very knowledgeable about the island and he had funny jokes. The driver Juan was also professional, the road in the mountains requires lots of attention. The experience was really nice with amazing views. What I would recommend (and not only this tour operator, as all do the same) it would be nice if people could have less time at the port and more in Port de Soller as the little town is really nice with lots of nice restaurants. Overall a very nice experience.

The bus left me after waiting only a few minutes! My voucher showed a DIFFERENT pickup address than the address they later sent me, which caused the confusion. I begged them to wait and explained that I was trying to get to the correct location, but they refused. I spent $150 on this tour and even missed my flight specifically so I could attend. Absolutely terrible customer service and a complete waste of my money. I’m extremely disappointed and would not recommend this company.

The information provided to you was the same information given to more than 70 passengers travelling on three different excursions that morning, including the meeting point, bus number and bus colour. All the other passengers managed to locate the correct coach. Our records also show that the coach waited approximately 13 minutes at the meeting point. This was not a case of the bus waiting “only a few minutes” and simply refusing to help. We understand that being late is frustrating, particularly when you had other travel plans, but describing the situation as the company giving you the wrong information and refusing to wait is simply not an accurate account of what happened. The evidence and the experience of the other 70+ passengers that morning speak for themselves. We are sorry you missed the excursion, but passengers are responsible for following the meeting instructions and being at the designated point on time. Humanize 169 words
This was a really great family day out. We boarded a bus in Alcudia which then took us up into the mountains on some twisty turny roads to some stunning views. This then wound down the other side to Sa Colabra where we had 45min to walk through tunnels down to a beach or sit and admire the view before we got a boat round to Port Soller, maybe 45mins on the boat. Port Soller was lovely for lunch before we got a charming tram up to Soller and then a wooden train to Palma. It was a busy and charming day. Only bad bit of the day were all the drop offs back in Alcudia which made a 40min journey more 2 hours. Too many options or too many people on the coach, take your pick, but it rather spoiled a good day out.

I was reluctant to book this tour because of the 2 hour bus ride. That bus ride was a beautiful & pleasant journey. The boat ride was fun, but the best part was the tram and train rides. Great old wooden conveyances. Through some pretty spectacular scenery. It was a long day. Worth every penny. And Juan was the best guide.

The experience went well and everything went as planned. However, I had the feeling that making the reservation through the agency did not bring any additional advantage. The process was quite simple and, in practice, it could have handled everything directly on its own, probably with the same ease. Maybe I expected some extra follow-up, additional information or some advantage that would justify the mediation. Overall, it was a good experience, but the agency service ended up adding little value.

I’m so glad I booked this tour. It was a full experience getting to see this beautiful island via bus, boat, tram and train. During Mallorca's very hot summer months, the caves certainly feel cooler than outside, but humidity can make them feel warmer than some visitors expect. This is a very long day but provides many nice experiences. The bus ride up and over the mountain was an experience in itself! Our guide was wonderful and made sure to give extra attention to those who needed it. When warm out be aware that only the bus is air conditioned.

A lengthy excursion to see most beautiful parts of Mallorca, Dora was a brilliant guide and her fluidity with multiple languages is remarkable. Maria was a lovely guide. She was very knowledgeable about Mallorca. She answered our questions about Mallorca and was always ready to clarify any questions we had. We brought a cooler with water but I think that if the tour operators offered water that would make it 5 stars. Mallorca is beautiful we loved hearing about Sóller and the surrounding area!
