De Do Eat Better Experience food tour is een wandeltocht door het historische centrum van Malaga. Je wordt begeleid door een lokale Expert die in staat is om elk detail van de geselecteerde restaurants, hun voorbereidingen en andere relevante curiositeiten uit te leggen. Do Eat Better Experience tours zijn een mix van hoogwaardige gastronomie als een manier om de Spaanse cultuur en levensstijl te laten zien en een wandelervaring samen met een lokale vriend. Dit is de reden waarom wij alleen kleine groepen accepteren : wij willen ons concentreren op een echte uitwisseling en aan elke toerist de hoogst mogelijke aandacht geven. Houd er rekening mee dat de tour altijd in het Engels en Spaans wordt uitgevoerd; andere talen op aanvraag.

Uw lokale Expert wacht op u bij het ontmoetingspunt. Maak je klaar om je voedselavontuur door de straten van Malaga te beginnen! Houd er rekening mee dat de proeverijen hier beschreven kunnen veranderen afhankelijk van het seizoen en de beschikbaarheid van onze partners.
Uw culinaire avontuur begint bij Mercado Atarazanas, de stadsmarkt gebouwd in de 19e eeuw op basis van een gebouw met Arabische invloeden, en onderdeel van Spaans cultureel erfgoed uit 1979. Hier kunt u genieten van een keur aan lekkernijen : een malse pinchito de pulpo (gegrilde octopusspies) of een smaakvolle pinchito de atún (gegrilde tonijnspies), gecombineerd met een verfrissend biertje om de toon te zetten voor uw reis (alleen lunch).
Ga vervolgens naar een levendige lokale plek in de buurt van het Picasso Museum, een XVI eeuws paleis dat meer dan 200 werken van Picasso herbergt. In de buurt krijgt u een glas wijn of een klein biertje geserveerd, samen met een selectie hartige tapas. Je kunt kiezen tussen carrillada (malse varkenswangen) of atún (tonijn), of kiezen voor de rijke smaken van chivo malagueño (stoofpot van geiten), knapperige chicharrones of de sappige atún encebollado (tonijn in uiensaus). Om te delen proef je ook een halve portie albóndigas (gehaktballetjes) die perfect bij de tapas passen.
Plaza de la Merced is een van de belangrijkste en oudste pleinen in de stad, bestaande sinds de Romeinse tijd. Het belichaamt echt Andalusische ziel en hoor je een aantal omgevingsmonumenten zoals het Monument voor Torrijos of het huis waar Pablo Picasso werd geboren. In de buurt, op de volgende bestemming, duik in de essentie van de Andalusische keuken met een selectie van tapas, zoals berenjenas al miel (gebakken aubergines met een heerlijke honingsaus) of ansjovis! Geniet bij uw gerechten van een drankje naar keuze en rond de smaken van deze authentieke Spaanse ervaring af.
Bij de laatste stop proef je de beroemde Locas de Málaga, een heerlijke lokale specialiteit die de unieke smaken van Málaga in elke hap vangt. Als alternatief kunt u in de zomer genieten van een verfrissend zelfgemaakt ijs op smaak gebracht met lokale ingrediënten.

This was such a lovely tour. Rosario our tourguide was absolutely amazing. She had so much local knowledge and a lovely personality and guided us easily through the streets of Malaga with historic notes as well. The food and drinks were so tasty and plenty of it ( do not eat breakfast). We will recommend to all we meet ☺️❤️
Jose was a wonderful host. He brought the entire city to life with his history, charm , and cultural knowledge of the region. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the beautiful real culture of Malaga with its architecture, food, and wines and knowledge of the city. Be prepared to walk at least 2 km through this beautiful city.
Had an amazing time on the food tour, Jose was an excellent tour guide. He gave of lots of information and recommendations. I definitely recommend this if you want to try new foods and wines.

Rosario is an exceptional guide. We visited the market and tasted typical Spanish dishes: anchovies, olives, croquettes, meatballs, fried eggplants, and more, as well as drinks like white wine, vermouth, and tinto de verano. To finish, a dessert that we took to go because there was a lot of food! Rosario is cheerful and gives us a little historical tour at the same time. I highly recommend it to you!

Amazing tour all the food we tried was amazing and closely linked to Malaga and its surrounding area. On the way to the different spots we saw amazing sights and got amazing facts about all of the things we passed. The tour guide was really friendly and was very knowledgeable about everything we passed and ate . It is an amazing tour and I would highly recommend. We did the food tour with Rosarillo and two other guests. The tour was amazing, we had a great time going through the different stops staring with the market. There was plenty of food and drinks and great conversation throughout, we had a great host.
This was the best tour ! We sampled so many unique dishes from Malaga paired with wines! Our tour guide Rosarillo was so amazing. She is just a delightful person and the best guide.
We had people who were late and some with food restrictions but our guide went over and above to accommodate everyone the best she could. We started in the crowed market which is a little hectic eating, drinking and standing at 3 stops but well worth it and the next stops were more accommodating. Rosario did a great job let us know about the history and culture on our walk around to the stops. I highly recommend this tour!!
