Wat deze tour zo bijzonder maakt, is de flexibiliteit, het ontspannen tempo en het contact met het meest authentieke Madeira. We stemmen de route af op de interesses van de groep, met extra stops voor foto's, natuur en vrije tijd. Lokale gids, ontspannen sfeer en persoonlijke aandacht. Het kan in groepsverband of privé plaatsvinden, afhankelijk van de voorkeur van de klant.

We vertrekken vanaf uw accommodatie en rijden in noordelijke richting. We nemen de tijd, zodat u kunt genieten van de cultuur van ons eiland en deze volledig kunt leren kennen.

De afdaling van Paul da Serra naar Ponta do Sol is een van de mooiste landschappen van het eiland. Daar maken we een ontspannen wandeling, verkennen we het dorp en kunnen wie dat wil zijn dorst lessen voordat we terugkeren naar het hotel.

Vervolgens staken we het Paul da Serra-plateau over, waarbij we verschillende keren stopten om foto's te maken. Onderweg kom je vaak vrij rondlopende koeien tegen, wat de ervaring leuk en authentiek maakt. 2 uur
Daarna gaan we naar Porto Moniz, waar we ongeveer 2 uur zullen verblijven. Vrije tijd voor de lunch, het verkennen van de beroemde natuurlijke zwembaden, wandelen of zwemmen, naar ieders voorkeur.
We vervolgden onze reis naar Seixal Beach, waar we ongeveer 20 minuten stopten om foto's te maken. Iedereen die dat wil, kan even een duik nemen — we zijn heel flexibel.
We begonnen in São Vicente en hadden ongeveer 20 minuten de tijd om het dorp te verkennen en de lokale sfeer op te snuiven.
Na een fantastische dag vol mooie herinneringen zijn we teruggekeerd naar jullie accommodatie.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Transfers vanaf hotels en accommodaties in en rond Funchal zijn inbegrepen. De chauffeur/gids haalt de reizigers direct op de afgesproken locatie op. Klanten worden de dag ervoor gecontacteerd om de ophaaltijd te bevestigen. Het voertuig is gemakkelijk te herkennen en de gids staat op het afgesproken tijdstip voor de deur van uw hotel of accommodatie. Als de accommodatie niet met de auto bereikbaar is, wordt er een ontmoetingspunt in de buurt afgesproken. Bij privétours kunnen de ophaaltijden en -locaties worden aangepast aan de wensen van de klant.

Had a lovely day and saw the most beautiful places. Bruno is a great driver with all the background stories you can wish for.
Our guide was Stephanie and she was great. She had a lot of energy and a formidable knowledge of the area. She took us to 8 different venues and allowed plenty of time for breaks and refreshments. Mostly we had enough time at each place, and it was only at Fanal Forest did we feel time was too limited as it was cut from 60 to 40 minutes. I’d have loved to have more time to relax and enjoy the amazing views. We ended the day at Ponta do Sol, a beautiful seaside town with lovely views. We both agreed this was the best activity of our two week holiday so a big ‘thank you’ to Stephanie for a great day out!
First time visitors to Madeira so we wanted a comprehensive tour of the island without the hassle of renting a car or route planning. We booked from the UK and had great communications from GetYourGuide and MadieraXperience. Our driver and tour guide for the day was Mauricio, a born and bred Madeirian (who had returned home after playing pro football for Gothenburg and Leyton Orient!) Such a friendly and knowledgeable young man, he was passionate about his island and knew everything about it from the fragile economics of balancing tourism with local living to the politics of being on an island with a mainland government. He knew the best spots to eat, how not to get ripped off and the best places to go and see with a limited time frame (and teenagers!). He took us to some beautiful places on the island, allowed us plenty of time to explore them and soak up the atmosphere. We would heartily recommend him/ this company to anyone wanting to see the beauty of Madiera, it was worth every penny. Looking forward to returning, and will seek out Mauricio again for further adventures.

Beautiful place, well worth visit on this trip to north side of island espevially if you dont have a car, Mautisio our driver/guide was really friendly, knowlegable & kind [ good looking too ] mafe ourvtrip much more enjoyable with his tips on locsl history & where to visit whilst here. Highly reccomend trip 😀

Our driver Mauricio was fantastic, very insightful and informative, and a good laugh. Very chill experience, with ample time to stop and explore different locations. Mauricio's English was excellent, to say he filled in for the English guide, and really made the experience all the while better. Highly recommend for a nice scenic drive with a nice vibe, good locations, and thoughtful driver(s). Other than the weather, which was beyond our control, we had an excellent time and some good banter. 5 stars across the board! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
