The drinks were reasonably priced. We saw dolphins and a whale in the distance, but the experience wasn’t as enjoyable as previous visits. Due to the size of the boat, it was difficult to get a good view and you don’t really get to see much of the wildlife up close so I would recommend other to choose a smaller boat,
Amazing! We were able to see a family of dolphins and a whale. It’s not always possible so we feel very lucky. Also, you get to go for a quick swim in the ocean. The water is amazing!
Friendly staff, we saw a whale and heaps of dolphins.
it was very well organised, and it was made interesting. The staff were lovely, and made sure safety procedurws were followed. I loved it. We were lucky enough to see many dolpins really close by and also a whale.
Seen some Bottle nose and spotted Dolphins close to the boat but no whales.
Great trip – easy to book and straightforward to find. We arrived at 11:30am for our 12pm departure, and there was already a long queue to board, but there were still plenty of seats available. We deliberately chose to sit on the nets at the front, knowing there was a good chance we’d get splashed by the waves – and we definitely did! If you choose these seats, make sure all your valuables are in a waterproof bag. During the trip we were lucky enough to see local dolphins, a sperm whale, and a pod of dolphins passing through the Atlantic, which was incredible. The crew also stopped for around 10 minutes for a swim, so bring swimwear and a towel if you want to get in the water. I’d also recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen and water, as you’re exposed to the sun for quite a while. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and one I’d highly recommend.
Totally great excursion. Highly recommended. The really nice crew took a lot of time with every sighting. We were very lucky; a whale and several dolphins were visible. We were even able to go swimming and learned a lot about the coast.
We had a fab time on this boat trip. It was incredible to see whales in the wild (we were lucky enough to see sperm whales), and we enjoyed relaxing for a few hours and taking in the views of the coastline from the water. The crew were friendly and highly respectful of the animals. The catamaran itself was modern and clean, with both shaded and sunny seats depending on your preference (we sat on the outer seats on the top level and had a great view from there). There were lots of people on board but it didn't feel too crowded and you were able to move around to use the bar etc. Highly recommend this trip.
We booked a 2.5h tour. Only whale & dolphin watching without swimming. In advance: The crew was very nice and the catamaran very cool. The trip out to sea with the waves was also really great. The actual whale & dolphin watching (searching for animals) unfortunately only lasted one hour. (incl. driving out to sea). We stayed at a school of dolphins for 10 minutes. After that, we drove quite leisurely along the coast for almost 1 hour for sightseeing. After 2h10 minutes we were back in the harbor. The fact that 50% of the time is spent on sightseeing, especially when only a small group of dolphins was visible beforehand, and we were also back in the harbor 20 minutes early, was very disappointing. We would not book here again.
We had a great 3 hours on the Eco Cat and cannot fault anything from booking, which was super easy and clear all the way to disembarking. All the staff and crew were friendly, helpful and super enthusiastic when we encountered a group of Sperm Whales AND Pilot Whales together. They told us about the species we had seen, some of the smaller islands on the horizon and we stopped for 10 minutes for swimming. It was also fun on the return trip when the wind picked up causing some waves to come over the front of the boat, although some people didnt listen when the crew warned them to get personal belongings inside so they didn't get wet... Drinks and snacks are also avaliable on board which was a nice touch! We would highly recommend this trip for any family! My daughter has been telling everyone about the Whales!
