Gelegen op een bergrug boven de Heilige Vallei, is dit goed bewaarde overblijfsel van de Inca-beschaving de populairste attractie van Zuid-Amerika, en ontvangt het dagelijks naar schatting 5000 bezoekers. De Expeditietrein, een fantastische treinklasse aangeboden door Perurail, biedt een comfortabele en stijlvolle manier om getuige te zijn van het wonder van Machu Picchu terwijl je door afgelegen dorpen en historische locaties rijdt, met een prachtig uitzicht op het Andeslandschap. Opmerking : Pasfoto is vereist om tickets te kopen. Wij bieden 3 Machu Picchu circuits aan : Circuit 1: Panoramisch uitzicht, geen tempelbezoek. Circuit 2 : Volledige tour met ansichtkaarten en tempelbezoeken. BOEK 5 maand van tevoren. Circuit 3: Benedeningang, geen toegang tot het fotoplatform, maar wel tempelbezoek. Stuur uw pasfoto's mee zodra u de reservering heeft gemaakt om uw reis te regelen.

Je avontuur naar Machu Picchu begint met het ophalen van een ontmoetingspunt tussen 04.30 uur en 04.45 uur, op weg naar een treinreis vol adembenemende vergezichten.
Onderweg zul je gefascineerd zijn door het Inca-landschap met met sneeuw bedekte toppen, weelderige subtropische jungles en oude Inca-landbouwterrassen. De trein brengt je naar Aguas Calientes, ook wel bekend als Machu Picchu Pueblo, waar je gids klaar staat om je te begeleiden tijdens een busrit van 25 minuten naar de citadel van Machu Picchu.
Bij aankomst begint u aan een rondleiding van 3 uur door de site. Je gids zal je informeren over de geschiedenis en cultuur van de Inca's, waarbij de belangrijkste gebieden van de citadel worden belicht. Na de tour heb je vrije tijd om rond te dwalen en Machu Picchu in je eigen tempo te ontdekken. Terug in Aguas Calientes heb je de mogelijkheid om te lunchen in een lokaal restaurant.
Je terugreis begint met een treinrit terug naar Ollantaytambo, die vertrekt om 16:22 uur of 18:10 uur. Vanaf daar, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid, zorgt de bus voor een soepele transfer terug naar het ontmoetingspunt, waarmee je je gedenkwaardige excursie afsluit.

Isao was an amazing guide. We researched a lot about Machu Picchu but Isoa taught us so much about the history and culture we were amazed. He also made it fun and enjoyable for our whole family. He’s also fantastic at taking photographs. He knew more about good iPhone pictures than we did!

Amazing experience. Our driver , Alex was right on time and dropped us off at the train station on time. Our guide, Isao, met us at the train station and brought us on an amazing tour of Machu Picchu. He was very friendly, cordial and knowledgeable. Macchu Picchu is amazing to see. Our guide was wonderful and the trip provider was well organized and provided great detailed information regarding the excursion. Downside is that this is a long 15 hour day (and only two hours are at Macchu Picchu). Traffic everywhere.
