Ontvang een vroege ochtend pick-up van uw hotel rond 5 : 00 uur om naar het treinstation in Ollantaytambo .
Aankomst in Ollantaytambo voor de treinreis naar de mysterieuze verloren stad Machu Picchu.
Bij aankomst in Aguas Calientes , de toegangspoort tot Machu Picchu , wandelt u naar de bushalte voor een korte rit van 25 minuten de heuvel op naar de Inca citadel.
Breng de komende twee uur door met een begeleide wandeltocht die een overzicht geeft van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en geschiedenis van deze opmerkelijke Inca-site. Je hebt ook wat vrije tijd om in je eigen tempo te verkennen, te ontspannen en foto's te maken. Belangrijke informatie over Machu Picchu : Het Peruaanse ministerie van Cultuur heeft de bezoekregels voor Machu Picchu bijgewerkt , waarbij de toegangstijden in twee sessies zijn verdeeld : AM Entree : 06:00 – 12:00 uur PM Entree : 11:00 – 17:00 uur Bezoekers moeten het terrein verlaten binnen het door hen toegewezen tijdslot en mogen het terrein niet opnieuw betreden zodra ze het verlaten. Degenen die niet voldoen aan de voorschriften zullen worden begeleid door de bevoegde autoriteiten. Voor de tour van een hele dag begint de bezoektijd wanneer de check-in in Machu Picchu is voltooid. Als de toegang bijvoorbeeld om 9.00 uur 's ochtends is, mag u tot 13.00 uur in het park blijven, wat voldoende tijd geeft om deze geweldige site te verkennen.
Na uw bezoek neemt u de bus naar beneden naar Aguas Calientes voor de lunch. Vervolgens stapt u op de trein voor de terugreis naar het station in Ollantaytambo , waar u wordt teruggebracht naar uw hotel in Cusco . Let op: Treintijden kunnen variëren afhankelijk van de boeking en worden bevestigd volgens de dienstregeling en beschikbaarheid van de treinmaatschappij.

The overall experience in Machu Pichu was great and our guide there was great. However, the way it was organized could have been way better: they kept a 6 hr gap in Aguas caliente which was unnecessary. We reached Macchu Picchu at 9am and were done by 11 am and our return train was booked for 6:10 pm which makes no sense. Also they never informed us how bad the roads are going from Cusco to Olloyatambo and it was 2 hrs (2.6 hrs for return) of extreme bumpy ride which is not the best feeling in higher elevation. They should have recommended taking the train entirely from Cusco rather than Olloyatambo.

However, we understand that this felt like too much waiting time for your schedule, and we will certainly review our itinerary spacing to see how we can make it more efficient. Regarding the journey between Cusco and Ollantaytambo, we always provide a private, comfortable vehicle for your family’s comfort. We feel terrible that the ride was uncomfortable for you due to the high altitude. Because these are public highways managed entirely by the Peruvian government, their bumpy condition is completely out of our control. Excellent!! It was the best decision I could make to go to Machu Picchu. All the time I was treated wonderfully, from being picked up on Airbnb to being returned to it. All the instructions to move were clear and at the same time, I was able to continue doing it on my own. They were only waiting for me in key locations to give me directions. If, like me, you love to travel alone, this is a must-see option.
Top notch tour. I was picked up at my hotel and driven to the train station. The driver game me my tickets and I boarded the train. another person walked me to the bus terminal. My guide was waiting for me at the end of the bus ride and we started our tour of the majestic Machu Picchu.

A very well organised tour with an excellent guide. I would recommend booking this Machu Picchu tour, as with all popular tourist attractions it can feel daunting trying to organise transport and passes, Fredi and the team book a complete package with support at every stage. Our day started at 4:50 when the driver collected us and drove to the centre of Cusco to collect our tickets before heading to the railway station, he escorted us through the ticket check and into the waiting room talking us through the boarding process. Then onto the train, very comfortable seats and complementary snacks and drinks are served. On arrival at the destination station you quickly realise why booking with Fredi is a good idea, you are greeted with a heaving mass of people but there in the middle of it all is a sign with your name on it. From here you are escorted to the bus queue and ticket checking, 20 minutes later you are on the coach heading up the mountain. On arrival again there are lots of people, here your guide is able to find you easily because the people who escorted you to the bus have sent a photo and let the guide know when you are due to arrive. The tour was fantastic, yes it really is as good as the YouTube videos show. After the tour your guide ensures you get into the bus queue to go back to the railway station, after a nice lunch it's back onto the train. Once you arrive back at the station you will see your name held by the return driver who will deliver you back to your accommodation. If your thinking about visiting Machu Picchu you will not regret booking this tour.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hassle free, clear communication, everything is taken care of for you. Pick up was on time, everyone was hospitable. My tour guide RoseMary was AMAZING. She took a billion photos and videos, helped with poses, every girls dream! So informative & knowledgeable. Excellent experience since before our trip Fredi was always aware of our doubts and concerns. We were picked up at the stipulated time by private taxi and taken to the train station where they explained where to expect, the Vistadome train experience is wonderful, arriving in Aguascalientes we were already waiting for someone with directions to board the bus and our guide was only for the two of us, Anai spectacular Guia, explained us carefully and took spectacular photos, if you have opportunity ask for it as a Guide.
