Luxe zeilervaring dag met champagne en lunch of diner

A perfect present from my wife for my 'special' birthday. She knows I love sailing but never sailed in a Yacht of this size or as luxurious. So, on the 8th July, sailing around the Solent and up to The Needles, I and one other couple on board, were looked after by an excellent and friendly crew, served with a delicious lunch and champagne, anchored off Alum Bay with an option to swim if desired. We were offered refreshments throughout the time, which were gratefully received as it was a very hot day. Also, very thankful for being given time at the helm (under the watchful eye of the skipper of course) I would recommend this to anyone who loves sailing or indeed anyone looking for a new experience. My thanks to all at Escape Yachting for a very well organised experience and to skipper and crew for a great day on the water. Hope to do it again some time.

Great trip. More wind would have been nice, but still a good sailing experience.

An unforgettable day out despite the lack of wind for a proper sail, but sunny and warm enough for lunchtime swims. David was a superb skipper and host, very inclusive with helming, and a mine of sailing knowledge for those interested. He was very ably assisted by José, with plenty of drinks and a very good lunch. If you’re wondering whether big boat sailing is for you, or you want an alternative day out, this is a perfect experience.

all the directions and information were clear and easy to follow. But...the experience was so much more than we ever could have expected. We were probably lucky as the English weather favoured us. The entire day was just a fantastic relaxing cruise. We had great fun with Stuart our skipper and our steward, Jose, is a little treasure (,and I don't mean he needs to be buried!). His food was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it while surrounded by beautiful scenery. A truly fantastic day out and we would definitely do it again.

We were shown on board by Garry the skipper and Jose the crew, for a lovely afternoon/evening sail, it was a beautiful day, Garry was very informative and safety conscious, let anyone who wanted to helm have a go, with of course his excellent guidance, Jose kept us hydrated with lots of drinks available if needed and cooked for 7 of us plus of course Garry and himself which is interesting in such a small area

My wife and I had the pleasure of sailing with Escape Yachting today, and we genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we stepped aboard until we returned to the marina, everything was seamless, relaxed and exceptionally well organised. This was my very first experience sailing on a yacht, and I learned so much throughout the day. Gary, Jocelyn and Paul were incredibly knowledgeable, patient and encouraging, taking the time to explain things in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable and has certainly sparked my enthusiasm for sailing. A huge thank you to Gary, Jocelyn and Paul, who made the day so special. Their professionalism, warmth and genuine passion for what they do shone through from start to finish. They created such a welcoming atmosphere and struck the perfect balance between letting everyone relax and making sure every guest felt involved and looked after. The lunch was absolutely outstanding—fresh, beautifully prepared and perfectly timed. Every detail of the day was clearly well thought out, making it feel like a real luxury experience. This was a first for us and I was really nervous. I needn’t have worried, as the skipper and crew were absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable and patient when they let you steer the yacht. We had a wonderful 2 course lunch which was delicious and an endless supply of tea, coffee and water. Needless to say we’ll definitely be booking up again. What a wonderful way for my husband to celebrate his birthday!

A fabulous experience throughout. Warm greeting and welcome. Our skipper for the day 'Gary' was fantastic, sharing his knowledge and expertise and offering us to help sail if we wanted to. Our assistant 'Gemma' was lovely, offered us refreshments, a lovely glass of champagne and took care of us; a beautiful lunch too. We were made to feel extremely welcome, we were truly looked after, it was beautiful. We highly rate this magical experience. Looking forward to doing it again.
