Luxe overnachting van Fez naar Merzouga

This trip was so amazing. The highlight of my time in Morocco. The desert is just absolutely beautiful. Captivating. Everything was very well organized. I reached out to Happy Moroccan Tours via Whatsapp and they responded swiftly. My friend and I were picked up at our hotel and we started the long drive with some coffee and nice music. The drive is long but beautiful. We made a couple of stops and had conversations about Morocco and the surroundings in the car. We arrived in Merzouga town and had an hour to chill in a hotel with pool, arranged by Moroccan Tours. This was so good! Bring swimming gear . This was what we needed after the long drive. Then we took the camels for an hour long walk during sunset. The food was lovely. The tents were so luxurious! We couldn't believe it. Nice decoration, soft beds and duvets, carpet, toilet, shower and AC. Little chill spot in front of the tent. We had issawa music around the campfire and the staff took us for some stargazing. The next day we woke up at 6 to go back by camel during sunrise, but most people choose to go back by car. All the staff in the camp were super friendly and fun. We were there during low season and only 10 others were there which made it all very chill. Thank you so much, I will definitely recommend Happy Moroccan tours to everyone :)

Horrible desert Trip , Mohammed lie all the time. We paid luxury desert Trip from Fez . And then our desert camp was other , no luxury, without towels , without hot water , bad food . He told me refund 100 € next day in Fes and he didn’t answer my call phone or WhatsApp. Ghosting. Please, you don’t book any Trip or activitie with this company.

Horrible desert Trip, this company is a disaster. We booked a luxury desert Trip from fez to the desert. On the way , Mohammed told me that my camp desert is full , was a lie, in Booking was available for that night. The camp room without towels, without hot water , bathroom was broken. Mohammed is a thief, he told me refund 100€ next day in Fes. Next day , he didn’t answer the phone. Ghosting, he didn’t answer movil phone or WhatsApp. Please , don’t lar him deceive you. This company is a scam. I attach a photo of the scammer and the shower

We had a wonderful time on this trip. We had a limited amount of time in Morocco and chose this tour. It was a little disorganized with transfers from the bus to the cars and the bus ride was very long so be prepared. The camel ride and the stay in the camp made the trip as well as the guides in the camp.

Unique journey, the road was long from Fez but what a landscape... A guide who cares about people's well-being. Thank you Abdou 🙏 I hope to do another part of Morocco next year.

THE SEVEN HOUR TRIP WITH OUR NEW FRIEND ABDUL AND FANTASTIC STATE, VERY SPECIAL EXPERIENCE DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXPENSE TO DEAL WITH (VERY EXPENSIVE). TYPICAL FOOD AND VERY VARIED EXPERIENCES. IT IS WORTH STAYING HERE FOR ONE NIGHT IF YOU ARE STARTING FROM MARRAKECH AND MOVING TO FES.

Everyone is extremely kind, very careful that everything goes well! Adapts to your program, and no unpleasant surprise! I highly recommend

The tour began at 8:30 am at the start of our Riad de Fes where Mohamed picked us up to lead us to the guide who would accompany us during the 2 days It was in a very comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle that we travelled and discovered incredible landscapes! The journey may seem long when you announce 7 hours by car but there are many stops on the road to discover the area and take photos. Mohamed the driver has been very attentive to our needs by offering us regular breaks to restore us or stretch our legs Arrival in Merzouga around 5pm we joined the 4x4 camels for 1 hour of walking to access the camp We were well received by the staff. The tents are very well equipped with shower toilet air conditioning towels wifi charging port .. The bivouac is very pretty We had dinner at the camp then participate in Berber songs After a hearty breakfast we left in 4x4 through the dunes. Our guide took us directly to the airport to catch our scheduled flight at the end of the day Everything is very well organized so we lack everything. It was a great experience!

We made last minute plans to take the overnight trip, Fes to the desert. HM owner Mohammed promptly organised everything for our private tour. Our driver (also Mohammed) was thoughtful, kind, keen to share knowledge of his country and to ensure a safe, relaxed and comfortable trip. In addition to the itinerary, we visited so many other fascinating sites, including a half day at Rissani on our return day: the markets, mosque, ancient Ksar, and Berber pizza at a Tuoreg home, were unforgettable! Further when we realised the Monastery de Notre Dame d’Atlas at Midlet was a short deviation from the route back to Fes, Mohammed happily took us. Sadly advance notice was needed to meet Pere Jean Pierre, survivor of the 1996 massacre at his Algerian monastery. Next we tasted local Berber lamb at the little village of Zaida before the last leg into Fes. Mohammed must have been exhausted! We were sad to say farewell to our wonderful companion but hope to meet again! The journey is as amazing as the Sahara destination. Don’t be deterred by the distance! Just go for the memories of a lifetime.

Camel ride to the camp was awesome. Staff was very helpful and entire experience was fantastic. Great tour.
