Hugo was wonderful! Had a great time - learned a lot and ate wonderful food. We did not even know there was a market in the area - Hugo showed us all around!
Excellent experience with Hugo!
Wonderful experience. Our guide, Hugo, was fun and knowledgable. The food selections were perfect. I am a picky eater and loved everything.
We had a wonderful food tour with Tony! Our small group of just four people, ranging in age from 18 to our 60s, made for a relaxed and friendly experience. Tony was knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely kind. He shared the history of Munich, Bavarian food traditions, and local culture while keeping the tour fun and engaging. We started at Café Frischhut with fresh, warm Schmalznudeln pastries, then explored the Viktualienmarkt tasting a wide variety of local specialties. We enjoyed mead and local honey paired with delicious regional cheese and fresh cherries for a picnic at the honey shop. We sampled traditional Bavarian sausages with sauerkraut and potato salad, and even tried Leberkäse. To finish, we stopped at the “Crazy Ice Cream Maker,” where we bravely sampled the currywurst ice cream, but our favorites were the cherry and peach flavors! It was a perfect combination of food, history, and conversation. If you’re visiting Munich and want to experience authentic Bavarian cuisine while learning about the city, I highly recommend this tour—and esp

Katrina was great with communication beforehand and met us as expected. It has been very hot since our arrival in Germany but she took that into consideration with our stops. We tasted Bavarian Vodka with the fizzy packets - maybe the adult version of pop rocks? Then we had some local sausage (white boiled variety and Bavarian sausage), sauerkraut, potato salad pretzel, and veggie cheese plate - and of course the beer. All delicious. We moved on to have cheese (a less spicy version of jalapeno jack), honey (delicious on the cheese), apricots and honey wine from the Honey House. Who knew a version of German Hot Honey even existed? We could have tried a meat sandwich but opted for ice cream instead (the heat in Germany is real atm!). Wonderful intense flavors - and so refreshing. We also had the pleasure of tasting Pistachio Baklava from Nadir Güllü. This place is amazing - and on the Michelin list for all you foodies. Katrina gave us a little history (food and otherwise), gossip and local lore and an all around great afternoon. Thank you so much and we will be back!

Katrina was amazing. The pickup location, despite being in an incredibly crowded area due to a city event, was easy to identify and navigate to. We started with a delicious pastry from Cafe Frischhut and from there it only got better. Delicious traditional biergarten food and beer, a fresh selection of local fruit and cheese paired with refreshing cold mead from local apiaries, and finished it all off with a very welcome ice cream from the best ice cream maker in Bavaria. Katrina gave our small group rich background on the market and each of the stops was an opportunity to learn and, of course, eat. She definitely made the tour, especially considering we were a small group and the other two guests were not really engaged. 100/10, would take other tours with her and her company for the conversation and the history lessons along the way.
