Deze tour vindt plaats in het schilderachtige centrum van Ketchikan in het historische district Thomas Basin, de thuisbasis van de Salmon Fishing Fleet en Crab Fishing Boats. Verzamel al je luidruchtige vrienden en doe mee aan de Alaskan axe-tion in deze geweldige wedstrijd van vaardigheid en kracht. De Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show reflecteert op de rijke houtkapgeschiedenis van zuidoost Alaska en komt tot leven met spannende demonstraties van kracht en behendigheid. Deze wereldkampioenen atleten dragen spikes en helmen en strijden in 12 atletiekonderdelen waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van zeven pond zware bijlen, zes voet vlijmscherpe zagen, boomklimhaken en opgevoerde kettingzagen. Je gejuich verandert in gebrul van opwinding als bijlen door de lucht vliegen, mannen in vrije val van hoge bomen vallen en vervolgens rennen op draaiende boomstammen die in het water drijven. De show wordt gehouden in een overdekte, verwarmde en beklede tribune met een rustieke lodge-cadeauwinkel en volledige concessie. Dit wordt een uur vol actie, opwinding en gelach dat uniek is voor heel Alaska.
All-You-Can-Eat Dungeness Crab Feast! Het Harbor Haus is uw bestemming om het meest ongerepte Dungeness Crab-feest te ervaren. Terwijl u uitkijkt over de haven vol met commerciële vissersboten, ziet u hoe de dagelijkse vangst naar de dokken wordt gebracht. Uw maaltijd bestaat uit salade met Aziatische dressing, all-you-can-eat Dungeness Crab, baby rode aardappelen en heerlijke worteltaart! Na de maaltijd bevindt u zich in het centrum van Ketchikan, omringd door totempalen, Creek Street, springende zalm en winkels.

The lumberjack show was fun and demonstrated their skills. The best part was the all you can eat crab. Andie and Ani were amazing wait staff and kept our plates full! You won't go away hungry!
We enjoyed the show and loved the crab feast!
If you arrive on a Cruise Ship & have trouble finding YOUR tour guide they are probably INSIDE the very BACK of the Red Brick Building straight in front of the Pier. Thank God for A Real Lumberjack who gave us proper directions. That day there were about 75 people with a Red & Black Chekered Jacket at the end of the pier. 90% of them were a Family off another ship. The HARBOR HAUS CRAB FEAST was Fabulous the Crab was Generously Supplied Fresh Steamed frequently. The Salad was Fresh & Crip with an Aslan Dressing that was a delicate new taste. Picky me loved it. Real Butter was a Delight for Dippin. The Staff gave a brief talk before serving our food. The entire Serve Team was Welcoming & Courteous. They answered nany questions as we all Gorged Ourselves The Dessert was Awesome; I barely had room to eat it but it was Mighty Tasty *10* The LUMBERJACK SHOW was both Informative and Entertaining. *10* We took a lot of Photos of Hardworking Men. I certainly made you think how hard it must have been for the EARLY Frontier Men & Women who settled in the ruggedness of "The Last Frontier". Well worth every $$$ One more thing get off tge ship early as pissible to do your shopping. INSIDE the red Brick Building in tge Front Left Corner is the Clothing & Gifts CLEARANCE. AWESOME SAVINGS
We were late coming off the cruise line (we thought the lumberjack show was near our cruise dock) they let us move to next time slot without a hassle! The lumberjacks were from all parts of US. Overall good time. The crab dinner was very good after!
Lumberjack show was very entertaining. Gave you a a good understanding of the tools used for timber, lots of humor and engaging the attendees. The all you can eat Crab feast was awesome! Fresh crab, ate until we were past stuffed. Well worth the price
The crab feed and show where excellent! They give you as much as you can eat. The lumberjack show is entertaining. I would have given it 5 stars but trying to check in was a bit of a hassle. We had a 12:30 crab feed. Got there at 11:55. Asked a lady at the counter about checking in and she said come back at 12 and she was very rude about it and seemed put off. Then the prior lumberjack show got out and "crabby" lady wouldn't check us in because she was too busy selling items from the gift shop. We eventually heard a man say, "All for the crab feast come with me." So we followed him and got seated but were never checked in. Dinner was great. After the meal it was time for the show and we got in line and the ticket taker scanned my tickets and said you have to check in for your crab feed first. I explained everything and he quickly let us in to the show. Over all it was a great experience.
The show was interesting and I did enjoy it. I was really there for the meal.....delicious crab, it was seasoned and hot and just wonderful. My only complaint was there had been a small lull between my frist serving and the second. Not sure if that was because they were still readying it or just not paying attention I could have had 3 more clusters. LOL
The show was a lot of fun. They are very interactive and really hype the crowd up. It was a good length of time. The crab feast!!! YUMMY!! It was amazing, they were fast and they kept bringing our table crab.
Good show and the crab was excellent!! Be aware of where your ship will dock because if it docks at the docks outside of the city there will be a long line to board the bus to get to the closer ports then you still have a 10 min walk to the lumberjack show. Much cheaper than booking it on the ship and I would book it again just for the crab!!
It was really a good time very well organized a lot of fun and really enjoyed the entire show and everything about it.
