Costa Azul is lange tijd een van de belangrijkste surfgebieden in Los Cabos geweest vanwege de blootstelling aan deiningen die over de Stille Oceaan reizen voordat ze de Zee van Cortez bereiken. Deze omstandigheden creëren golven die surfers het hele jaar door aantrekken en maken het strand een ideale locatie voor het leren van fundamentele surfvaardigheden. Naast het staan op een board, leert surfen deelnemers hoe ze golfpatronen kunnen lezen, oceaanbewegingen kunnen begrijpen en bewustzijn van veranderende omstandigheden kunnen ontwikkelen. Leren in deze omgeving biedt een diepere waardering van de relatie tussen de kustlijn, de oceaan en de surfcultuur van Baja California Sur.

• Gratis vervoer heen en terug is beschikbaar vanaf hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo en de Tourist Corridor • Als uw hotel niet in de lijst staat, neem dan gerust contact met ons op zodat we de beschikbaarheid van vervoer voor uw gebied kunnen controleren • Gasten die met hun eigen voertuig arriveren, kunnen elkaar direct ontmoeten op Costa Azul Beach (Rits Parking Area), waar de surfles begint vanaf het strand • Hotels buiten het belangrijkste toeristische gebied, waaronder Hard Rock, Nobu, Rancho San Lucas, Diamante of Four Seasons, zijn niet inbegrepen in gratis vervoer en ontmoeten elkaar op Plaza Gali OXXO in Cabo San Lucas • Cruisegasten ontmoeten elkaar ook op Plaza Gali OXXO, ongeveer 3-5 minuten lopen van de uitgang van de jachthaven. Gedetailleerde routebeschrijving zal worden verstrekt met uw bevestigingsbericht • Cabo San Lucas cruise aankomsten werken met tenderboten, die extra tijd kan duren, afhankelijk van de haven operaties. Wij raden u ten zeerste aan de vroegst beschikbare inschrijving te nemen of indien mogelijk een prioritaire inschrijvingsservice te boeken • Gasten die vervoer missen of te laat arriveren, moeten op eigen kosten rechtstreeks op Costa Azul Beach aanwezig zijn voordat de activiteit begint

- Minimum leeftijd is 6 jaar

- Maximale wachttijd na geplande vergadering of ophaaltijd is 5 minuten
- Cut-off tijden zijn gebaseerd op lokale belevingstijd
- Geschikt voor Beginners, gevorderden en gevorderde surfers met coaching aangepast aan vaardigheidsniveau en oceaanomstandigheden
- Surflessen vereisen basiscomfort in het water en matige fysieke activiteit
- Wetsuits beschikbaar op aanvraag tijdens de wintermaanden in XL, LG, M en SM
- Reizigers die specifieke surfplankmaten of glasvezelplanken aanvragen, moeten minstens 24 uur van tevoren contact met ons opnemen
- Verhouding instructeur 1 : 3
- Observator / begeleider plekken vereisen vooraf reservering en extra transportkosten. Observer optie omvat geen surfplank of surfles deelname
- Surflessen werken seizoensgebonden ongeveer van 15 maart tot 15 november op basis van seizoensgebonden deiningsomstandigheden
- Ochtendvertrek wordt meestal aanbevolen voor schonere en consistentere surfomstandigheden
- Deze ervaring vereist gunstige weersomstandigheden. Bij annulering als gevolg van onveilig weer, oceaanomstandigheden of operationele beperkingen, wordt gasten een alternatieve datum of volledige terugbetaling aangeboden
- Er zijn geen lockerfaciliteiten beschikbaar, maar bezittingen kunnen tijdens de activiteit meestal in het transportvoertuig blijven
- Niet aanbevolen voor reizigers met rugklachten, zwangerschap of ernstige hartaandoeningen
- Deelnemers onder invloed van alcohol of drugs zijn niet toegestaan
- Medische terugbetalingsaanvragen vereisen een officiële doktersverklaring op dezelfde dag en voorafgaande kennisgeving voor aanvang van de activiteit

The instructors were very straightforward, instructions were clear and simple. My instructor was patient and took time to coach me through the entire experience and offered recommendations, which I appreciated as a first timer. I felt safe out in the ocean thanks to my instructor. Transportation was also provided which was a plus! I would recommend this experience.

Luis/Monito did a great job from beginning to end. Super friendly customer from pick up. Emphasized safety while being positive. Perfect balance of instruction and support with letting them try and get experience. He genuinely seemed like a positive person, and that it was not something that he did for customer service.

The instructor was just awesome! Picked us up right on time from hotel lobby. Very friendly and engaging. He encouraged the kids at the level that they needed and was very patient. Excellent experience for all of us.

The lessons were geared to people comfortable in water. The staff were extra helpful with helping people get on the surf board guide the students to ride the waves.
