Wij zijn het enige lokale familiebedrijf voor foodtours in LA. We hebben de originele Downtown LA food tour in 2009 samengesteld. Een leuke, gepassioneerde en deskundige inwoner van LA zal 3,5 uur lang je gids en mede-foodievriend zijn terwijl hij/zij je meeneemt door LA's oudste openbare openluchtmarkt voor heerlijke proeverijen bij twee van onze favoriete eetstalletjes. Daarna ga je naar het historische Broadway voor een aantal ongelooflijke bezienswaardigheden van verborgen bezienswaardigheden zoals het Bradbury Building voordat je een prachtige Italiaanse osteria binnengaat voor een heerlijk sit-down-feest van zelfgemaakte pasta's. Gasten blijven hun weg door LA eten met een stop bij de Last Bookstore voordat ze zich tegoed doen aan een paar taco's en vervolgens eindigen met een decadent dessert. Gasten bezoeken in totaal 5 lokale eetgelegenheden met proeverijen die gelijk staan aan een volledige maaltijd, wandelen en bezienswaardigheden bekijken in Downtown LA, ontvangen een gratis draagtas voor restjes of winkelen, en verbinden zich tijdens deze unieke en authentieke foodtour-ervaring.

Bezoek LA's oudste openbare openluchtmarkt en proef eten uit enkele van onze favoriete kraampjes en verken vervolgens de rest van Downtown LA, waarbij je tijdens onze wandeling meerdere lokale restaurants bezoekt.
Stap binnen in een van de mooiste gebouwen ter wereld, dat dateert uit 1893.
Loop door een tunnel met boeken en zie rondvliegende boeken in deze grillige, onafhankelijke boekwinkel, verscholen in een historische bank, voordat je op pad gaat voor taco's en desserts.

Darlene was AMAZING! My gosh, now i want to go on every tour with Six Taste! I'm a local SoCal gal who worked in LA the past 10 years and I learned more about LA on this tour than I ever did working here! The culture, storytelling, food, and everything else was so great. I'd recommend this tour to both locals and visitors!

What a great way to experience downtown LA! Our guide Darlene was knowledgeable, kind, and quite funny- she could rock any open-mic night. We learned a lot, ate delicious food from five restaurants, and our small group really clicked. We actually didn’t walk as far as I was expecting, and Darlene promised to herd us at our pace. I’m not a foodie, but I’m so glad we signed up for this tour.

"Sally from the Valley" (those who know will know) was our tour guide. She was bubbly, charming, knowledgeable and just a wonderful tour guide. She really knew her way around Japan Town and shared fun facts along the way as she explained each dish we ate and how to eat it. (They were all great and some were things we never would have tried without her encouragement.) We were a private group of eight and were so impressed that we are planning our next food tour with Sally!
This was a great tour. Its not an "appetizer" food tour, there is plenty of food and you will leave full. The stops are all fun, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
We went on the Little Tokyo tour, and our guide Sally was wonderful. She was great with both kids and adults. The food was delicious, and the history was an added bonus. Sally was energetic, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great time. The amount of walking, the breaks, and the food choices were all just right. We had allergies and preferences that she happily accommodated. Highly recommended!

We started with two tastings at Grand Central Market which we're both amazing and large portions. Then we toured the beautiful Bradbury Building. After that, amazing pasta at Maccheroni Republic. The tacos were excellent at Guisados. It was a fun stop at the last book store. At the end, dessert was a donut or Gelato. It was a very enjoyable 4 hours. Highly recommend.
