Dit is de allerbeste manier om de London Christmas Lights te zien. The Lights bevinden zich voornamelijk in het bruisende West End van Londen, langs de iconische winkelroutes zoals Oxford Street, Regent Street en Bond Street. We zien ook prachtige lichten in Mayfair, Trafalgar Square, de Thames Embankment en Westminster. De auto is een elektrisch aangedreven 6-zitter, met een glazen, panoramisch dak en is uitsluitend bedoeld voor gebruik door uw groep. We kunnen stoppen waar je maar wilt voor foto's en ik heb een fantastische route uitgestippeld, die we kunnen aanpassen terwijl we verder gaan om je te laten zien wat je maar wilt. Ik ben een ervaren Londense taxichauffeur en gekwalificeerde gids, dus ik zal je ook heel veel interessante feiten en verhalen over Londen vertellen.

De beroemdste winkelstraat van Londen, met Selfridges, John Lewis en Oxford Circus. Het loopt van Tottenham Court Road naar Marble Arch, langs de loop van de 2000 jaar oude Roman Road, bekend als Via Trinobantina
De meest iconische kerstverlichting van Londen met aan weerszijden beroemde winkels, zoals Hamleys, Liberty's en The Apple Store.
De meest stijlvolle winkelstraat van Londen, met prachtige verlichting en uitgebreide pauwenverenpatronen. De etalages hier zijn adembenemend en let op Celebs die ook hun kleding en sieraden kopen. In voorgaande jaren hadden Cartier, Bulgari, Stella McCartney en Victoria's Secret de meest in het oog springende etalage- en lichtschermen.
De kerstboom op het plein wordt altijd geschonken door het land Noorwegen, om Groot-Brittannië te bedanken voor hun hulp in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Het plein heeft ook een enorm en indrukwekkend Chanoeka-lichtkaarsdisplay, waarbij elke dag een extra kaars wordt aangestoken.
Westminster is het centrum van het Britse parlement, maar ook de thuisbasis van de koninklijke familie sinds Henry VIII zijn paleis in Whitehall had. De tour passeert de iconische bezienswaardigheden hier, waaronder Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Eye, Parliament en Westminster Abbey.
De Tour neemt je mee langs Victoria Embankment over Waterloo Bridge, om je het geweldige uitzicht op de Lights of the South Bank te geven. Gebouwen hier zijn onder meer de Oxo-toren, de Royal Festival Hall, het Mondrian Sea Containers Hotel en The Shard.
Mayfair is de rijkste wijk van Londen en het is waar de rijken en beroemdheden graag feesten. De hotels, clubs en restaurants zien er met kerst op hun best uit om hun klanten te lokken. Zie prachtige lichten op locaties zoals Annabelles, Claridges, de Connaught en Scotts of Mayfair.

Yesterday David picked us up from home and we were driven into London in a lovely London black cab. We were driven around London to see all the Xmas lights, including travelling over and back both Waterloo and Westminster Bridge to see the sites, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St Paul's and The London Eye to name a few. We were given water and sweets to enjoy on our journey. Ive known London for years including many visits but being driven around in a black cab with an exceptionally knowledgeable guide was the icing on the cake. There was no rush at any time and many times we got out for a better look!! I would strongly recommend this experience and would not hesitate to do it again. London Xmas lights were lovely. After a 3 hour tour David drove us home. Stress free. 10/10.

We recently went on the Christmas lights tour and it was fantastic. This is the 5th time for my family, 1st for myself and I will certainly be returning for the 6th. Dave was brilliant, great knowledge of London and very attentive and caring getting everyone safely through the streets. Highly recommend, thank you Dave.

Had the most amazing experience with Hop In and Out Taxi Tours to see the Christmas lights! Dave was absolutely fantastic — so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about London. He truly made the whole tour feel magical. It was such a unique and special way to see the London at Christmas, completely different to anything I’ve done before. Dave took us to so many beautiful spots, including hidden gems around London that you’d never find on your own. He even provided snacks and waters, and happily let us stop, hop out, and explore whenever we wanted, it made the whole tour feel so VIP, personal, and thoughtfully designed. Dave was a fantastic host and tour guide - he adapted the destinations based on our existing plans in London and we got around so much more than we could have on our own. Dave had also curated lots of the best Christmas displays and could take us directly to them with great stories to go with them - loved the Selfridge’s windows, Cartier and Chanel. Our 3 hrs actually went to 3 1/2 hours as Dave took us to Big Ben and Waterloo Bridge as requested by our kids, so great value and no lost sights due to the (crazy busy) traffic. Lollies and water were provided and we were able to bring our own food in the cab. The cab was able to park in lots of convenient places so we could get out and walk and get photos. highly recommend this experience!

We took our children as there first Christmas experience of December 2025 for a Christmas lights tour of London , Dave was fantastic he surprised the kids with there elf on the shelf in the rear of the cab. He took us on a route which gave us so much more than expected, noticing our son mentioned historical facts a few times he added in some extra sights and places which he knew all about! He timed liberty and Cartier perfectly for some extra treats, the kids loved the Ralph Lauren window with interactive buttons

Fantastic experience that i would highly recommend. Had a great time with our guide Dave seeing the Christmas light of London in his blackcab. Had such an amazing experience with Dave he is so relaxed & friendly . The tour was comfortable and we had our little cans to drink, Didn’t rush you at all kept to timings. He manage to get us close to seeing all the lights. Highly recommend the taxi tour.

We had a great time getting to see all of the different parts of London with Dave our Driver. He was also a black cab driver so he was able to park and stop in areas that were totally packed. This allowed us to see more and get out and do some extra walking. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and he helped plan some other events the nvest few days.
