Ervaar de overweldigende schoonheid en stilte van de beroemde Liwa-oase van de VAE op een spannende dagdaagse woestijnsafari van Abu Dhabi. Reis met airconditioning 4x4 naar deze afgelegen strook van zand en oase in de uitgestrekte Rub al Khali of 'Empty Quarter', een van 's werelds grootste en meest spectaculaire duin woestijnen. Geniet van een 2 uur durende woestijnrit langs de torenhoge rode en oranje duinen; kijk uit voor wilde dieren zoals de Arabische gazelle; en ontspan voor een picknicklunch in het koele klimaat van een oase met palmbomen voordat je terugkeert naar Abu Dhabi.

Begin je woestijnervaring met een pick-up van je centraal gelegen hotel in Abu Dhabi. Maak kennis met je deskundige chauffeur-gids, spring in je comfortabele 4x4-voertuig met airconditioning en ga op weg naar de zuidelijke randen van de VAE. Luister tijdens je reis naar fascinerende feiten over de Liwa Oasis, een reeks oases in het noorden van de Rub Al Khali of 'Leeg kwartier', 's werelds grootste woestijn met continu zand. Deze immense woestijn strekt zich uit van de zuidelijke VAE tot het zuiden van Saoedi-Arabië, en tot Oman en Jemen, en was ooit de thuisbasis voor de stammen die zich gingen vestigen in Abu Dhabi. Kijk onderweg naar het woestijnlandschap en kijk toe hoe het zand van crèmekleurig verandert in donkeroranje. Nadat je trek hebt gekregen, stop je bij een oase om te genieten van een heerlijke picknicklunch. Proef lekkernijen zoals kippasta, fruitsalade en muffins samen met verfrissende frisdrank en water, en drink in de overweldigende stilte en het gevoel van leegte om je heen terwijl je eet. The worst experience I've ever had. I booked with them for one price, and when I arrived in the desert, they quoted me an even higher price than I expected. They're irresponsible and only care about money. I don't recommend them.

Awesome! Aris was brilliant, explained so much and the desert driving was incredible! The angles of the sand dunes that you go down was amazing! Wildlife was surprising, camels yes, but not expecting gazelles as well! Sunset incredible. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful experience for once in a lifetime. It is a more rugged experience, so don't expect luxuries, but an authentic desert experience! Very experienced guides! Note that this experience is a ca. 3h drive from Abu Dhabi.

This Liwa desert drive is a truly unique experience to discover the gigantism of the Abu Dhabi desert. Taking this tour, you have no chance to cross with other visitors and you can discover many different places. We had the chance to be guided and driven by Aris. Aris is keen to share his broad knowledge from the start to the very end of the safari. You feel in good hands with Aris, he is also a top sand driver and good photographer. Highly recommend this tour agency for Liwa desert and dunes. Very responsive customer service was able to book everything on WhatsApp from USA Aris our guide and driver was punctual, gave us a lot of information about the history, culture of Abu Dhabi and all the sites we were to see. He is extremely friendly and reliable. Did not pressure the group to keep time in fact our tour took 10 1/2 hours instead of eight hours Ask for Aris!
