Ontmoet je Gids bij het historische Carioca Station terwijl de stad overgaat in de nacht. We trappen af bij een lokale favoriet voor een warme kop slijmerige Pão de Queijo (12 stuks om te delen) in combinatie met een traditionele, verfrissende ijskoude Mate met Limonade (300 ml) – de typische straatverfrissing van Rio.
Stap terug in de tijd in een historische, eeuwenoude lokale taverne. Hier proosten jullie op de nacht met een authentieke shot ambachtelijke Cachaça en een tongstrelende shot Amazone Jambu om te delen. Om de drankjes in balans te houden, graaf je in twee traditionele kip Empadinhas (hartige, vlokkige oventaart).
Ga dieper de levendige straten van Lapa in. In dit buurthoofdgerecht proeven we twee van Braziliës favoriete hartige barhapjes : een portie knapperige, gouden Bolinho de Bacalhau (6 kabeljauwcakes) en traditionele traanvormige kip Coxinha (6 stuks).
Bezoek de wereldberoemde Selarón Trappen als ze oplichten voor de avond. Hier stoppen we bij een legendarisch straatkraampje voor een enorme, vers door elkaar gehusselde 500ml straat Caipirinha. Geniet van de nationale cocktail van Brazilië terwijl u geniet van de levendige boheemse energie en kleurrijke tegelmozaïeken.
Houd de energie in beweging door de levendige bohemien steegjes van Lapa. We stoppen bij deze populaire lokale hotspot om te snacken op een verse portie gloeiendhete, knapperige Fried Polenta – het ultieme hartige comfortfood om onder vrienden te delen.
Sluit de voedselreis af bij de beroemde straatmuur van Lapa vlak bij het iconische aquaduct Arcos da Lapa. Bijt in een vers gegrilde, rokerige Pão de Alho (Braziliaans knoflookbrood) gevuld met rijke knoflookcrème en gesmolten kaas, waardoor u op de absoluut perfecte plek bent om uw avondje uit in Rio voort te zetten.

A great way to be introduced to Brazilian food, drinks, and nightlife. Giovanna was a great host. She took my wife and I out to some great bars that we otherwise wouldn’t have found and certainly helped us try things that we wouldn’t have even known were Brazilian specialties. Amazing Rio night food tour in Lapa that showed us a completely different side of the city.
