Een Beijing halve dag tour duurt ongeveer 4 uur, met pick-up en drop-off beschikbaar bij uw hotel in het centrum van Beijing. Veel zakenreizigers hebben slechts beperkte vrije tijd van een halve dag om de attracties van Beijing te verkennen, en onze halve dag tourpakketten zijn speciaal ontworpen om aan deze vraag te voldoen. Om 08:30 uur of 13:30 uur wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel door Engels sprekende Gids. Rijden naar Lama Tempel te bezoeken. Als grootste lamahuis in Beijing werd de Lamatempel gebouwd in 1694. De tempel bevat 5 zalen langs een centrale as plus drie Memorial Archways. De Hall of Harmony and Peace is het hoofdgebouw van de tempel. Het grootste houten Boeddhabeeld ter wereld staat in deze tempel. Zijn beide aangetrokken door de lokale boeddhisten en reizigers ook. Als u alleen de toegangskaarten hebt gekocht, ga dan naar de attractie en ga op eigen houtje op ontdekking.
En dan naar Confucius Temple & Imperial College. De Confuciustempel in Peking is de op een na grootste in China. Gebouwd in 1302, was de tempel een locatie waar mensen respect tonen aan Confucius, de grootste denker en opvoeder in het oude China. Imperial College wordt ook wel Guozijian genoemd. Het was het hoogste leerinstituut tijdens de Yuan-, Ming- en Qing-dynastieën. Keizers in keizerlijk China bezochten de plaats om Confuciaanse klassiekers voor te lezen aan duizenden studenten. Na de tour van een halve dag wordt u terug naar uw hotel gebracht. Als u alleen de toegangskaarten heeft gekocht, ga dan naar de attractie en ga op eigen houtje op ontdekking.

To start with history is one of my list everytine I travelled to another country. My tour guide Rita was excellent. She took time to explain to me every detail and special monument inside the confucius museum. I also admired her professionally. She is one of the best tour guide I ever had.
We did this tour and it was a wonderful time. Lisa was great! She was very informative and patient. The Lama Temple was a truly wonderful place, and the Confucius Temple was really serene. I would thoroughly recommend visiting the temples.

Our guide, Lily, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and went out of her way to make our experience memorable. Lily answered all our questions and made the tour really interesting. She picked us up at hotel on time and gave us as much time as we needed to see everything we wanted. She even got us to the Confucius Temple in time to see the afternoon dance performance which was beautiful. We would highly recommend Lily and this tour if you want to see more of Beijing than just the Forbidden City, Great Wall, and Summer Palace.
Lisa was a great, knowledgeable tour guide! I appreciated her willingness to share her personal experiences and those of her family. She was patient, answered all our questions, and encouraged us to stop to take many photos. I loved that she was even enjoying the tour and taking photos, too! We had a half day tour of the Lama and Confucius temples. The sites themselves were impressive and I would definitely recommend visiting them. The music show at the Confucius temple was a particular highlight!

Hi, Our guide, Lisa, met us at our hotel lobby, when expected for this half day tour. The trip to the temple was short, which was a pity as the car (Buick Minivan) was very comfortable and air conditioned. In that time, Lisa gave us some historical background and a schedule for the tour. Her English was excellent in both delivery and her understanding of us. When we arrived at the Lama temple (Yonghe Temple) , she organised the tickets and guided through into the gardens. This place dates to the Qing Dynasty and was the residence of Prince Yong prior to his ascension to the imperial throne. It is still a working monastery and temple. There is some wonderful examples of Han Chinese as well as Tibetan art works. From there we travelled to the Temple of Confucius on Guozijian Street near the Imperial Academy. This is much older than the lama temple and Lisa tells a nice story about the Cypress trees and their ability to sniff out corrupt officials. :) At the time of our visit we got to see a dance performance that portrayed harmony and happiness. Finally, we walked to the Imperial Academy and its grounds. In both places, the use of English on many of the exhibits is very good. At the end of the tour we could opt to be returned to our hotel or to some other attraction. Lisa named a few and we chose to visit the Drum and Bell towers in Xicheng District. Why did I like it? I liked the tour because it gave us a glimpse of imperial life outside of the forbidden city tourist attractions. The Lama temple is a museum and still a place of worship so you can witness ancient customs and rituals. Who might like this tour? If you want to see another side to the imperial system of china outside of the forbidden city and want to learn the importance of Confucius and how the academy was used to educate the brightest minds for imperial service then this is great. It is easy and relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. I thought very highly of Lisa and the service provided by the tour operator. She helped with ideas for other things we did on our trip and helped out with dining recommendations. First class service. We enjoyed the experience so much we got Lisa to take us to the Summer Palace on a day we had not planned to do anything.
The temple of Lana and Confúcio were great. Excellent place to visit and see China culture. The guide Linda was very nice and also the driver.
