Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Dit zijn privétours met een enkele opstapstop, en het avontuur begint zodra we elkaar ontmoeten. Belangrijk : voor ophalen buiten Funchal, Santa Cruz en Câmara de Lobos geldt een kleine toeslag. Ik rijd in een auto gebrandmerkt met het Go Local Madeira logo en haal meestal gasten op aan hun deur. Voor rondleidingen aan wal ontmoet ik u aan de kade van het cruiseschip en geef ik duidelijke, gemakkelijk te volgen instructies om een soepele en stressvrije vergadering te garanderen. Ik heb twee volledig gerestaureerde terreinwagens voor uw comfort en veiligheid: Nissan Patrol (1993) – 5 zitplaatsen: 1 naar voren gericht, 4 achterin zijwaarts gericht (60 cm / 23 inch elk), met een panoramisch / cabriodak voor een prachtig uitzicht. Land Rover Discovery TDI (1996) – 4 zitplaatsen naar voren gericht, perfect voor een comfortabele rit. Voertuigen worden toegewezen afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid, onderhoud of weersomstandigheden, met voorafgaande kennisgeving aan de gasten.

Val takes you to all the places you don't get to see on a typical tour- you get to see the hidden gems that only the locals know about! My son and I had an absolute blast! We learned a ton about Madeira and saw some spectacular sights. Highly recommend this tour!!
My wife and I spent a thorougly entertaining day with Valdemar, who was extremely knowledgable of the history of Madeira and its flora; we didn't stop talking and shared a good sense of humour. We were only in Madeira for 4 days and it was unusually wet, so a private tour on our last day meant that Valdemar could both tailor the day to our needs and stay away from the rain in the west. Of course the landrover was able to go where no sane person would take a hire car and we visited a couple of the highest peaks, with their breath taking and peaceful scenery, and some of the eastern ports, still relatively untouched by mass tourism, enjoying much in between. We had the most amazing day with Val. He is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect about Madeira and took us to many hidden gems around the island. We experienced a bit of everything, levada walks, magnificent nature, beautiful view points to tasting local food. Highly recommended.
We can not rate this trip high enough - Val was extremely knowledgeable, we had a full on day, visiting more places than you could imagine, without it feeling rushed. Val adapted his suggested itinerary due to weather & our interests. We all had great fun & would thoroughly recommend. Away from the tourist flow we were allowed to collect many impressions. Valdemar is the perfect, courteous and friendly guide we have ever experienced. He is absolutely highly recommended.
This was a very personalized tour and a perfect way to spend the day. Valdemar provided a great experience. His intimate knowldege of the island and its history really tied a bow on our holiday.
