Ervaar de ware magie van Kyoto 's nachts! Deze award winnende foodie tour neemt je mee voorbij de toeristenvallen en diep in de historische, door lantaarns verlichte straten van Gion en Pontocho. 1. Toegang tot verborgen lokale restaurants Navigeren door de exclusieve eetscene van Kyoto kan intimiderend zijn. Uw lokale Gids leidt u naar authentieke, verborgen plekjes, te beginnen met een historische Machiya (traditioneel herenhuis) voor een seizoensgebonden Kyoto-keukenfeest. 2. Diepe culturele gastronomie Eet niet zomaar; begrijp de cultuur. Leer de geheimen van "Dashi" (bouillon) en "Obanzai" (huisgemaakte gerechten) die afkomstig zijn uit de aristocratische en boeddhistische geschiedenis van Kyoto. 3. Premium Sake & snoepjes Ontdek de zachte smaak van lokale sake gebrouwen met Kyoto's beroemde zachte water in een levendige Izakaya. We stoppen bij een traditioneel restaurant dat lokale gerechten uit Kyoto serveert, zoals Obanzai (Kyoto-groenteplaten).
Bij de tweede stop proberen we nog een lokale keuken uit Kyoto. Pontocho ligt in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, en is een rosse buurt en uitgaansgebied tussen de Kamo rivier en Kiyamachi Street. Er zijn vele restaurants en souvenirwinkels.
Bij de laatste stop, zullen we Japanse sake proeven in de staande bar. Er zijn ook frisdranken beschikbaar.
Kamogawa rivier De Kamo rivier is een rivier die van noord naar zuid door Kyoto City loopt, zich uitstrekt over ongeveer 27km, ontspringt nabij de berg Sajikigatake en stroomt naar de samenvloeiing met de Katsura rivier. Het is een rivier die de hoofdstad en de Kyoto-cultuur al duizend jaar koestert gedurende haar lange geschiedenis, en zelfs vandaag de dag, midden in een grote stad, behoudt het zijn helderheid en is geliefd bij velen als een plek van ontspanning.

What wonderful tour! We got to explore areas of Kyoto that we would not have otherwise known, the variety of food served was amazing! The guide Yuuki was very friendly and knowledgeable, and her English speaking was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and recommend it highly.

Did this tour with Yuuki last night and it was amazing. Come hungry as you are going to 3 restaurants for amazing Kyoto food that is so much better than you imagine. Yuuki was the best, looking after us and also giving us a tour of Gion. If I could give her more than5stars I would. I went with my family and my sister family and we had so much fun and we were so full and satisfied. I am sure this will be a highlight of our trip

We had a nice pleasant walk through a very vibrant area of Kyoto. We stopped in three places for very authentic Japanese cuisine. It was a great experience and definitely good way to feel immersed into the Japanese culture. Definitely recommend it

Josh was excellent and we enjoyed him thoroughly. Both for his knowledge & explanation of the area, and also for his personal style. The food locations were diverse (in a very good way) and he even encountered an unexpected issue with our last stop and he (and another guide— there will be other Magical groups right there with you, but not intrusively) arranged a new accomodation for the last stop for both groups. This was a great tour in Kyoto. The tour guide , Chihiro was exceptional. The restaurants and the food choices were amazing. Chihiro had great communication skills and that made the tour experience very memorable and enjoyable.

My tour guide was awful. She had us running through red lights and had this weird tick where whenever someone said something she would do a fake laugh where she blows air out her nose. Mind you she’s leaning over me… also only one restaurant had good food. I don’t recommend
