If you want to make a coin ring in Kyoto, this is the place to go. I had a great time making one, even as a beginner. The staff were kind and friendly; beyond just teaching me the process, we chatted a lot, making it a truly enjoyable experience. You can make it in 45 minutes. You can enjoy it for around $9.
