Meestal bied ik deze tour aan in Gion, maar als je dat liever hebt, kunnen we de locatie veranderen in Arashiyama Bamboo Forest of Fushimi Inari. We beginnen onze reis bij Yasaka Shrine, een prachtig en beroemd Shinto heiligdom gelegen in het levendige hart van Gion. Bekend om zijn felrode torii poort en rijen gloeiende lantaarns, creëert dit heiligdom een magische en traditionele sfeer perfect voor foto's. De grote hal en kleinere houten gebouwen van het heiligdom laten klassieke Japanse architectuur zien, met verschillende achtergronden die bij uw stijl passen. Hier kunt u de rustige en spirituele kant van Kyoto vastleggen, omlijst door de levendige kleuren van het heiligdom en de rustige tuinen eromheen. Of het nu ochtendlicht of avondgloed is, de unieke charme van Yasaka Shrine zal helpen om uw foto's op te laten vallen. Het is een plek waar geschiedenis en cultuur schoonheid ontmoeten, waardoor je memorabele foto's maakt op een van Kyoto's meest iconische locaties.
Vervolgens wandelen we door schilderachtige, smalle straatjes met traditionele houten huizen en kleine winkeltjes om de Hōkan-ji-tempel te bereiken, algemeen bekend als de Yasaka-pagode. Deze vijf verdiepingen tellende pagode is een van de meest herkenbare bezienswaardigheden van Kyoto en biedt een prachtige achtergrond die het oude Japan prachtig weerspiegelt. De pagode torent boven de omliggende wijk uit, en de rode en bruine kleuren contrasteren prachtig met de natuurlijke omgeving. Deze plek is vooral populair voor foto’s omdat het uitzicht architectuur, geschiedenis en het alledaagse Kyoto-leven combineert. Wandelen hier voelt als een stap terug in de tijd, waardoor je foto's een warme, authentieke uitstraling krijgen. Het is een prachtige locatie om het traditionele Japan vast te leggen met charmante straatzichten en lokale kleur.
Onze laatste stop is de beroemde Kiyomizu-dera Tempel, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed dat adembenemende uitzichten en fotomogelijkheden biedt. Het grote houten podium van de tempel, ondersteund door honderden houten pilaren, kijkt uit over de stad en weelderige bossen. Afhankelijk van het seizoen zie je kleurrijke kersenbloesems in het voorjaar of schitterende rode en oranje bladeren in de herfst, waardoor je een prachtig natuurlijk kader voor je foto's creëert. De tempelgebouwen zelf zijn prachtig ontworpen, met traditionele Japanse vakmanschap. De levendige sfeer van Kiyomizu-dera, met pelgrims en bezoekers die rondlopen, voegt energie en leven toe aan je foto's. Dit is een perfecte plek om de shoot te eindigen met een mix van cultuur, natuur en indrukwekkende uitzichten die het rijke erfgoed van Kyoto weerspiegelen.

I had such a wonderful experience in Kyoto! He was incredibly accommodating, easy to communicate with, and made the whole session feel comfortable and fun. He was patient with timing, locations, and my ideas, which I really appreciated. We only had a short time in Kyoto, but Amare made it awesome. Super friendly, totally relaxed, and full of ideas. He found great spots, guided us through natural poses, and turned a tight schedule into something fun and memorable. We got beautiful, genuine photos, way better than we expected in just a bit of time. If you’re in Kyoto and want some really good photos, I highly recommend him. Seriously worth it!
The photographer is Anare and is very cute and attentive from minute 1 that you hire the tour contacts you and makes a super cute photo shoot despite the crowds knows perfectly the spot by and poses for wonderful photos. Without any hurry and always feeling confident. 100% recommended
Amare was absolutely amazing. We were 4 adults and were looking for a photoshoot that was a mix of solo portraits, couple portraits (including a pregnancy photoshoot) and group pictures. Amare knew the best places to go that were less crowded, gave us tips on how to pose, and took a ton of pictures. He sent the pictures quite quickly, and we loved each of them. We went to places we had not even considered for the photoshoot, with a mix of temples, nature, and city vibes. I fully recommend Amare for your photoshoot in Kyoto!!!
We had a great photo shoot! our photographer really took his time to get the best shots of every member of our family. (Even through the tropical rain) He has a really good natural eye! He was able to correct our poses and was very mindful that the background was both beautiful and not full of people behind us. He was patient and kind with my kids, he got some great shots of them with spectacular Kyoto landscapes and temples in the background. He even took some fun ones with a cat mask which really helped relax my kids. Highly recommend! His price is reasonable, his work is beautiful and we got the photos in two days. Absolutely worth it.
