I had a lot of fun with my friend, we painted with the colours for learning and happiness. We learned about the history and significance of the Daruma. How when you fall 7 times, you get back up 8 times, being as resilient to falling/failing as the Daruma. Relaxing Studio ghibli music played in the background while my friend and I chatted and painted away. Whenever we needed anything the owner and employee were quick to help us or get what we needed. It was 4000¥ per person when we went and you get all the material there along with some inspo and tea ☕. Definitely feeling like I got to be creative, relax, plus I walked away with a little bit more knowledge. I hope my wishes from the Daruma come true, otherwise I have a little buddy from the experience hehe.
It has been a very fun and at the same time relaxing experience. Itsuki has been a great host.
A very cozy and comfortable experience! I went with my friend and Itsuki was our host; she was very kind and helpful, and provided us with a bit of cultural history behind the Daruma and was quick to assist if we were lacking supplies.

Time flies when you’re having fun. Nina was generous with her time allowing us to stay a little longer to finish our over ambitious projects. A fun way to spend time in Kyoto, and you create a unique souvenir.

Really fun. I'm not too good at art but it was a lot of fun to paint. Guide was very friendly and helpful. They are very welcoming. Would absolutely recommend.
