Kyoto is synoniem met het oude Japan, en het is inderdaad waar je veel fotomomenten kunt vinden. Je gaat de plaatsen bekijken met de beste Kyoto-esthetiek en het zal een lust zijn voor je ogen en je Instagram-volgers. Van heiligdommen tot straatkunst, deze stad zit vol met fotogenieke plekken. Pak je camera en zet je hashtags klaar, hier zijn de meest Instagrambare plekken in Kyoto! Het beste van deze dagtocht is dat je de exacte ervaring kiest die je wilt. De Togetsukyo-brug overspant 155 meter over de Katsura-rivier die Saga Arashiyama verbindt. Wat het tot een perfecte plek maakt, is het schilderachtige voetpad en de weelderige heuvels die op de achtergrond uitsteken. Kun je je voorstellen hoe prachtig deze plek elk seizoen verandert?
Het bamboebos van Arashiyama is een van de beroemdste en meest iconische landschappen in Japan. Het uitzicht op het pad door het bamboebos is gewoon adembenemend. Omdat het de afgelopen jaren een toplocatie voor fotografie in Kyoto is, heeft het Bamboo Forest de neiging om overdag erg druk te worden, dus als je foto's wilt maken met het lege pad, is het beter om de plek vroeg in de ochtend te bereiken voordat iemand anders!
Kiyomizudera is een van de mooiste tempels in Kyoto. De tempel is gunstig gelegen in het midden van het schilderachtige groen. Maar vanaf het grote houten terras in de open lucht is een andere ervaring, want je wordt getrakteerd op een prachtig uitzicht over Kyoto in al zijn glorie. Kyoto Localized biedt een gratis wandeltocht in Kyoto, waar Engelssprekende lokale gidsen je naar Kiyomizudera en enkele andere bezienswaardigheden in de stad brengen.
Een van de meest iconische locaties in Kyoto is de Yasaka-pagode, een gebouw van 5 verdiepingen en 46 meter hoog in de boeddhistische Hokanji-tempel (nu verdwenen) in Higashiyama. Yasaka Pagoda is moeilijk te missen als je door Gion en Higashiyama slentert. Overal in het gebied waar de Yasaka-pagode te zien is, is dit een geweldige Instagram-foto.
Gion District in Kyoto staat bekend als de thuisbasis van Geisha- en Maiko-meisjes, aangezien het gebied zich vele jaren geleden ontwikkelde als het uitgaanscentrum van de stad. Gion is ook beroemd om het prachtig bewaard gebleven historische straatbeeld met traditionele houten koopmanshuizen. Het wordt ten zeerste aanbevolen om overdag en 's nachts te bezoeken, omdat je overdag een meer bruisende sfeer kunt zien, en 's nachts zijn de straten van Gion veel rustiger in gedimd licht.
Natuurlijk pakken we deze verzameling niet in zonder Fushimi Inari-schrijn - een van Kyoto's meest getagde plaatsen op Instagram. Dit iconische Shinto-heiligdom herbergt meer dan 1.000 vermiljoen torii-poorten - iets dat je waarschijnlijk overal op Instagram hebt gezien.
De Kenninji-tempel (建仁寺) ligt zeer dicht bij de drukte van de straten Hanamikoji en Shijo, het terrein van de Kenninji-tempel is uitgestrekt en aangenaam om te wandelen, en de twee karesansui (droge landschapstuinen) bieden de bezoeker hier een oase van rust. Er wordt gedacht dat het de oudste Zen-tempel in Kyoto is.
Byodoin Tempel (平等院) staat bekend om zijn Phoenix Hall, die is een nationale schat van Japan en een UNESCO World Heritage Site. Extra reistijd wordt verwacht als het is gelegen in Uji stad in Kyoto prefectuur

The experience and tour were excellent allowing us to customize according to our desires.
