Peddel over de gemakkelijke Otra rivier, langs een prachtig landschap met Noorse natuur aan beide kanten. De reis is ontspannend en geschikt voor peddelaars van alle niveaus. De tour begint wanneer we je ophalen en je 10 minuten met de auto naar het beginpunt van de rivier rijden. Bij het startpunt helpen wij u veilig in de kajak te stappen en begeleiden u de rivier af. Je krijgt ook hulp van de stroming van de rivier die je rustig de rivier af duwt. De Otra rivier heeft zeer schoon water. Als je je peddels onderdompelt en de kajak beweegt, voelt het water fris aan. Het gebied rond de rivier is prachtig. Je peddelt door bossen met hoge bomen. U hoort vogels zingen. Als je dicht bij Kristiansand komt, wordt de rivier breder. De stad heeft zowel natuur als gebouwen, en de rivier brengt je recht naar het centrum. Het is een geweldige plek om uw reis te eindigen en te verkennen. De tour eindigt op het adres "Kjoita 10", op 10 minuten lopen van het stadscentrum! Peddelen met de Otra is een reis die je niet snel zult vergeten. Welkom!

- We halen u op bij Odderøyveien 5, 4610 Kristiansand. Ontmoet elkaar buiten het gebouw op dit adres. - We worden dan naar het startpunt van de tour gereden (Haus genaamd) - We helpen je comfortabel te worden in de kajak en leren je alles wat je moet weten - Wij begeleiden u veilig de rivier af! - De tour eindigt op de bodem van de rivier, het adres is "Kjøita 10", ongeveer 1 km van Odderøyveien 5 waar u werd opgehaald

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Uw Gids ontmoet u vlak voor de rondleidingen beginnen. Als de Gids er 15 minuten voor aanvang niet is, maak je dan geen zorgen. Uw Gids zal er zo zijn. Wij halen u op met de auto en rijden u over de weg langs de rivier naar het startpunt. Het eindpunt van de tour is op een andere locatie, ongeveer 12 minuten lopen van het stadscentrum / plein.

The kayaking was good, we had a tailwind and nice weather, and Magnus was a very attentive guide. We thought we would have transportation back to the meeting place and access to restrooms after the tour, it was a bit of a hike back.

This was a well organized excursion. Our guide Magnus was waiting for us at the meeting place. We then were driven by taxi to the starting point of the kayaking. The kayaks and equipment were in excellent condition. The water was calm and fairly shallow, which made me feel better as a first time kayaker! Magnus was a great leader!

A fabulous kayaking experience! Hakeem did a great job of making sure everyone was comfortable. Very good communication with Hakeem before the trip and clear directions on where to meet. He was very aware of our cruise time constraints.

This was my first time kayaking, and Hakeem was very kind provided excellent instructions and support. We launched in the river and were able to paddle all the way back to Kristiansand. The water was cool and clear, with a little current in some areas. We were with others ranging from tweens to seniors and all were able to participate and keep up. Highly recommend Hakeem, excellent guide!

Our cruise ship docked in Kristiansand on August 24th. We booked this kayaking experience because of the reviews we read in advance and we had an amazing time kayaking on the Otra River with Hakeem(owner) and about 20 people, who were mostly on our cruise ship. We were blessed with wonderful weather and had a blast! Hakeem was great to work with. He was readily available for communications before the excursion, great to talk with during the excursion, and was generous to all during the trip on the river. Definitely recommend this experience and working with Hakeem!!!
Generally we were happy with the tour (couple 31/30 years). Booking was easy, communication good and the two guides excellent! The price is also fine for Norway. One point deduction was awarded for the following: - Entire river trip is along a medium-traffic road - Nature is beautiful but hardly varied - Clothes / shoes in the designated compartments were wet - No return transport to the starting point but 20-25min walk We are glad that we participated, but would not recommend the tour without restriction.
