Bergen Mostraumen Fjord Cruise met Live Gids

Scenery is gorgeous, cruise staff very informative. Highlight of our stay in Bergen. Easy to find start point. Get to boat 30 minutes before embarkation & sit on top (assuming good weather), either on the right side or aft. Just remember that if you miss a photo opportunity on the way up the fjord, you can catch it on the way back.

Link in booking form doesn't bring you to the actual meeting point, rather you need to go to the back of the building. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. The boat itself was the issue. We arrived 25 mins early but all seats next to the windows were already taken. The outside decks also. It was quite cold outside also with a strong wind so we went back inside but had to sit away from the windows which meant we couldn't see what the guide was pointing to unless we went outside. The decks were very packed then with others also trying to view stuff. People at the front stayed put so if you wanted a photo, you had to simply lift your camera over others' heads. There were people on their phones and sleeping next to the windows but did not give others a chance to sit there. So, my advice is get there extra early and get seats along the sides of the boat, if inside. The front row will soon be blocked by people outside so it'sof no benefit except for the first few mins.

One of the most stunning experiences you can be lucky enough to have, highlighting our trip to Bergen. Everything was well organised and efficient, our guide Mara (?) was amazing providing the right amount of detail in a balanced and informative way. She also came around the boat chatting with people and answering any questions, which was lovely. We were also really lucky that the sun shone throughout the trip a rare occurrence in rainy Bergen! Would totally recommend.

Superb trip, highly recommended. The tour guide was excellent and the boat well equipped.

This was my first ever boat tour and it was beautiful! Was I nervous? Absolutely. Should I have been looking back? No! It was such a nice experience and the guide was so kind. The tour was about 3 hours, about an hour and a half in and the other hour and a half back to Bergen. The week I spent in Bergen was a sunny week (the guide joked I brought the sun from Texas with me), so it was beautiful being outside on the top. But being from Texas, I rode back in the bottom that was enclosed lol! We also got to go in the very front of the boat as we came back to port. It was such a fun experience and I wish I could do it again! If I ever find myself back in Bergen or anywhere in Norway, I would absolutely do another tour!

A very comfortable and beautiful cruise up to a small town framed by waterfalls at the end of a narrow fjord. The guide was terrific, speaking perfect English and sharing highlights along the way. Indoors was warm and cozy, while stepping outside was a bit colder with wonderful views. Total time was 3 1/2 hours, the perfect length.
