Ook een uitstapje naar de watercocosboomgaarden en terug overdag is best bijzonder. Cam Thanh dorp is ongeveer 4ha, tijdens de Vietnam oorlog tthis was de schuilplaats voor de lokale bevolking en soldaten en tegenwoordig deze plaats is beroemd voor het verstrekken van de meeste zeevruchten procduts voor dit gebied. Bij de basket boot tour heb je de kans om een aantal traditionele vistechnieken te leren en hoe je de unieke Vietnamese bamboe mandboten kunt peddelen terwijl je de nu rustige kokospalm geflankeerde waterwegen van een voorbije oorlog verkent.

Our boat ride was so much fun. Our guide made the ride so entertaining and was explaining things as we went. He also took great photos of us. Would highly recommend doing this boat ride!!
Wonderful experience that you shouldn't skip. Book in advance or pay upon arrival, price was $4.50/person. Basket boat fits 2 adults and a small child. Route takes approximately 30min. A small portion is shaded but they provide traditional Vietnamese hats and an umbrella. Tam was an energetic, fun and strong lady. Even with our language barrier we had a good time and some new memories thanks to her. Highly recommend!

We were wanting to do a basket ride through the coconut forest but no idea as to which one. We took a grab and this was the first location we came too. We had a boat each and wonderful drivers who were super fun, singing, excitement and the wonderful cooling breeze from the water. Such a colourful experience, such a wonderful experience.

Fun experience, good value for money. The kids loved it and the guides are good fun. We went around midday which was really hot, I would recommend going earlier in the morning or late afternoon.
The trip was amazing and very fun, a must do when youre in Hoi an! The people were so friendly and were there to make sure you had a great experience!
We purchased our admission tickets through TripAdvisor (Viator) and took a Grab from the ancient town, which was about a 15-minute taxi ride. Upon arrival, we showed our voucher, and the staff asked us to wait for our boat captain. Our captain, Hung), was very nice and no upselling, no pressure to take photos or buy extras, which we really appreciated. The boat had umbrellas and hats available, and you’re required to wear a waist life jacket. The boat ride lasted about 30 minutes. There were many Korean and Indian visitors on that day, and some groups were singing karaoke on the water, which was fun to watch. We went around 1:30 pm, and it was quite hot, but thankfully there were no mosquitoes. We skipped the spinning basket boat activity (need to pay extra and saw some folks threw up) but enjoyed learning about the water coconut plants and seeing the coconut forest. Overall, it was an interesting experience.
Very helpfull, they arranged our transportation as well. Boat ride was fun and there were perhaps 100 boats with music and boat spinning entertainment.
Amazing experience! Everyone super friendly and they went above and beyond! So fun on the boats and the guide takes photos for you all the time!
