Duikers moeten voor deze reis een brevet hebben. Duikers zonder certificering moeten Discover Scuba Diving boeken Koh Tao is een eiland net ten noorden van Koh Samui en is een uitstekende keuze voor de verscheidenheid aan duikplekken daar. Van ondiepe, rotsachtige locaties tot enorme pinakels en een breed scala aan harde en zachte koralen, om nog maar te zwijgen van een overvloed aan zeeleven, er is echt voor elk wat wils. Uw dag begint wanneer wij u rond 7.00 uur ophalen bij uw hotel. We nemen je mee naar de pier waar je kunt genieten van een licht ontbijt en koffie/thee en waar je het Discovery Divers Team kunt ontmoeten. De boot vertrekt om 8:00 uur van de pier. Het duurt ongeveer 80 minuten om Koh Tao per speedboot te bereiken. Na voltooiing van de tweede duik keert de boot terug naar Koh Samui en bent u rond 15.30 uur terug in uw resort.

Koh Tao is een uitstekende keuze voor zowel beginners als ervaren duikers. Er zijn ongeveer 12 verschillende duikplekken die we over het algemeen bezoeken en welke duikplekken we op een bepaalde dag doen, hangt af van het heersende weer en de duikomstandigheden. Onder de beschikbare duikplekken zijn Chumphon Pinnacle, Mango Bay, Shark Island, Twin Rocks, Japanese Gardens, en andere. Over het algemeen vertrekken we vanaf onze pier om 8.50 uur en keren we rond 16.00 uur terug naar de pier. Deze tour is beschikbaar voor gecertificeerde duikers en ook voor snorkelaars. Alle reizen worden gemaakt met onze eigen Discovery Divers-speedboten en zijn inclusief alle apparatuur.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Vanwege de verschillende hotellocaties op het eiland, dient u het duikcentrum per e-mail de naam van uw hotel door te geven. Het duikcentrum zal je dan antwoorden met de juiste ophaaltijd voor de ochtend van je duiktrip. Als we deze e-mail niet ontvangen, kunnen we je de ochtend van de duiktrip niet ophalen. Transfers vanuit het noorden en oosten van het eiland zijn gratis. Voor transfers vanuit het zuiden en zuidwesten van het eiland moeten we 500THB per enkele reis in rekening brengen Overschrijvingen ophalen. Houd er rekening mee dat hoteltransfers bij de tarieven zijn inbegrepen, met uitzondering van hotels/villa's aan de zuidwestkant van het eiland naar de noordwestkant van het eiland. Voor dit gebied geldt een extra transfersom van 800 thb heen en terug

I went on another couple of dives with Discovery Divers and had another great experience. They have the best equipment, great dive guides (Filip, Pierre and Nai) and you will have a great day and experience with them. Fantastic communication with timely hotel pick up, pre dive orientation and post dive review to keep your dive log book up to date. They take you to great dive sites. I will be back diving with them in December!

My son and I had truly great time with Tom, our Thai guide, who is a superb diver. The Discovery operation is relaxed and really friendly, yet truly professional. Highly recommended. A fast boat and good lunch. What's not to like.

We had Sami as our dive master today, and she was absolutely outstanding! She guided us to all the special spots in the coral reefs and showed us a variety of beautiful fish. She explained all the steps very carefully, making us feel at ease throughout the experience. We had an amazing time, and they also catered to our dietary needs. After my first diving experience in Phuket back in 2007, returning to the waters around Koh Samui was nothing short of amazing. We completed two dives with Discovery Divers and were so impressed that we immediately booked a Sail Rock dive trip with the same instructor. We felt incredibly lucky to have the entire boat to ourselves, along with just one other diver, which made for a truly personalized and relaxed outing. Our dive guide, Otilio, was professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at ease. A big shoutout also goes to Samira, the deck master, who was equally attentive and helpful throughout the trip. The quality of service, attention to safety, and the warmth of the staff are exactly why we booked another two dives. We hope to return one day for more underwater adventures. Despite the sullen weather (rain, current, waves), the exit was great. The instructors were amazing. I am a beginner diver they made me feel very comfortable and were extremely patient with me. They made the dive a lot of fun! I would definitely go on another dive with them! Wonderful experience all the way around!

I had a great experience in the Koh Tao dives. We did two boat dives. There was people from all certification levels from master divers and experienced divers to novices to first time divers. Everyone had a great time and the dives were all safe. We saw an amazing amount of fish, coral, and a ray! Padi certified location. I also got to rent an underwater camera and took a bunch of photos. They have many options for photo opps from a camera rental to a private photographer. We had a great lunch on the boat and soft drinks and water were provided throughout the trip.
